Assignments

Working in a group, assign individual members the following questions on the Terror. This
will help to ensure full understanding of the topic. Each member should report to the group
with their answers.
1. What was the Terror?
2. What caused it?
3. Who led it?
4. Who suffered most from it?
5. What different perspectives are there on it? Could it be seen as a ‘good’ thing?
6. Why did it end?
7. Was it necessary?
8. What were its implications?
9. What were its consequences?
10. How significant was it?
11. Has it been given too much or too little coverage? How have sources such as those on
pp 28, 29 and 30 helped you come to your conclusions?

 You can use other sources to answer the questions (article, encyclopedia, ebook,
illustration, etc). However, you may not use wikipedia or other unreliable sources like
blogspot.
 Always put your sources below the answers.
