Assignment Question:

1. You have to set up an Office from Zero. Submit a Project Proposal to the Management based
on the following requirements.

a. Assumptions
i. Location: Prime area in Tier-2 City.
ii. Carpet Area Required: 10,000 Sq.Ft.
iii. Seating Capacity: 200.
iv. Ventilation: AC.
v. No of Meeting Rooms: You have to suggest.
vi. Pantry: Inclusive of carpet area.
vii. Car Parking & bike parking: You have to suggest.
viii. You can assume the rest of the line items required for the project
(Example: Type of - Work Stations, Fire Safety Equipment, BMS,..etc.).

General Questions:
1. Describe your daily routine as an administrative manager.

Ensure the Employee Health & safety maintained, provide good water,food and HVAC and
hygienic Rest Rooms,Best and safe Transport services,Recreations.,,etc

2. Your budget is dwindling and you only have enough left to pay for one activity. the company
currently needs to increase the number of internet connections, but it also needs to add a
couple of workstations. explain, what would you do and why?:Will discuss with
Management and vendor then will get quote and negotiate with vendor and close.

3. What major challenges in people management did you face during your last role? how did
you manage them strategically?:challenges faced is in Food division.the issue was with
quality and quantity.we internally had a food committee and arranged meeting with
vendor and discussed all the issues faced by the employees,final decision taken and new
menu finalized and vendor promised to take corrective actions on the said issues.

4. What are your strategies for handling multiple escalations?:Apologies for the same,will
arrange for meeting on discussing issue and then offering a solution,Tell them will escalate
their call.Post them the status and get in touch till they are happy.

5. How do you manage the procurement process of the office?:if we want to procure
something,if its below 15000 Rs we will process on Non-PO process.if it is above 15000
Rs.then will have to go for PO process.we will get commercials from market vendors and
submits to procuremnents team.they will get in touch and negoatiate and release the Po.we
will follow up and get the work done and then process the invoices.

6. What are your views about seeking help from others? In my point of view,Helping others will
make me very happy and would feel fulfillness inside heart.I would always prefer to help poor
people and for jobless people,,etc..

7. Can you please tell us about your certifications related to the role of the administrative
manager?:none
8. Describe a time you failed in this role and the lesson you learned?None

9. How do you keep yourself organized during a busy workday with requests and tasks from
various sources? Scheduling the priority of works,executive accordingly.

10. How do you handle and motivate the different personalities on your office team?:

To get to know team and their strength and weakness in the field.Train them on weekness.To
motivate to improve communication,system knowledge,nurture a positive environment,,etc so that it
would be easy if they get new Job with promotion.
