Department
Executive Housekeeper
The Executive Housekeeper directs and controls all housekeeping operations and the
housekeeping department staff. He/she has to coordinate between housekeeping
crews in order to inspect assigned areas and to ensure standards.
Deputy Housekeeper
The deputy housekeeper reports to the
executive housekeeper. His/her duties are:-
Check and ensure that all guestrooms, public
areas, and back of the house areas are clean
and well maintained. Inspect the work done by
contractors- pest control, laundry, window
cleaning, etc.
Assistant Housekeeper/Housekeeping Manager

The assistant housekeeper reports to the


executive housekeeper. In large hotels, where
an deputy housekeeper exists, assistant
housekeeper reports to deputy housekeeper.
In large hotels the responsibilities of floors,
public area are divided among assistant
housekeepers. In the absence of deputy
housekeeper, all the above mentioned duties
and responsibilities are taken over by the
assistant housekeeper.
Floor supervisor/Floor Housekeeper

The Housekeeping Floor Supervisor is


responsible for planning, organizing, and
developing of the daily operations of assigned
floor(s) or area in accordance with federal, state,
and local standards and guidelines along with
assuring the highest degree of quality guest care
is maintained at all times.
Uniform Room Supervisor

Manage overall daily operations of the Linen


Room. Complete inventory of uniforms/linen to
be taken at regular intervals. Ensure quality
controls are in place for all linen uniform
processes, rejecting any exceptions. Responsible
for maintaining cleanliness of the linen/ uniform
area.
Linen Room Supervisor
The Linen Room Supervisor supervises the daily
operations of the laundry, linen and uniform
room to ensure adherence to organisational
procedures and standards. He/She plans
resources, allocates work assignments, oversees
laundry, linen and uniform room workflow and
supervises work performance and quality
control.
Night Supervisor

The Housekeeping Night Supervisor is


responsible to supervise and inspect the work of
assigned room and/or public area attendants to
ensure product quality standards are met and
that optimum service is provided to hotel guests
according to hotel and company business
objectives during the night time.
Public Area Supervisor

The public Area Supervisor is responsible for the


cleanliness of hotel public areas including hotel
exteriors. He or She also needs to train and
inspect the performance of assigned public area
attendants ensuring that all procedures are
completed as per the hotel's operating
standards.
Hotel Storekeeper

The Housekeeping Storekeeper is in charge of


requesting and replenishing the floor items to
deep the par stock accordingly. He/She should
be able to effectively communicate both verbally
and written, with all level of employees and
guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and
service-oriented manner.
