Drivé the car up and measure the motor voltage and cur- rent (if possible). Compare with the motor’s nominal values on the nameplate: If they differ more thari +20%, check if the elevator is really properly atijusted. Possible rea- sons for differences are: ~the motor is not at its normal operating temperature; + the car and the counterweight are not properly balanced; + the motor field is not properly Wajésted; + the motor ratings are not'caléulitéd FOF the actual use (speed, load, accelera- tion, etc: can be different that designed); + line voltage or voltigé from auto=ttafisformer is not correct. If after verifying all those points measured values still exceed specifications, consult a specialist. 7.6 Checking feedback current at full load +» Connect a recordér at MP3/A4. Run the elevator many floors in up direction, still with 100% load. + Determifié the voltage in the middle of acceleration. (If the control panel contains a fieldand brke unit, check the setting and the actual operation of the tow field.). The supply Véltage for the motor might be too low, assuming that other reasons have been eliminated as probable causes. 8 ADJUSTMENT OF THE START +++Remiove the'I84U from the car. + Adjilst'thé™speed regulatot delay” potentiometer P7/A6 to the extreme clockwise position. + Connect a multimeter at MP3/A4. Make the elevator run at low nominal speed. The way to do it depends on the purpose of this, option in the system.
