Ella: The World’s First
Smart Self-Driving Stroller
stroller (52%) is not the kind of product one
would expect to win prestigious (52/7
awards at the largest and most important consumer
technology event on the planet. But that is exactly
what happened at CES (Consumer Electronics Show)
2023 held in January in Las Vegas, U.S. An Al-powered
smart stroller was the highest scorer out of 2,000
entrants (####) in the Vehicle Tech and Advanced
‘Mobility category and was acclaimed (fif) as the most
innovative product in the show.
Technology and automation have become a part of many
aspects of ourdaily lives. Now, the latest technologies have
been used to make life easier for parents and caregivers
(BEA) who have Infants (3852) to look after.
15 Ts Exper CoatElla is the world’s first smart pram (28582). It was developed by GllixKind Technologies, a Vancouver-based
start-up (WH). The founders of the company, Kevin Huang and Anne Hunger, first thought of creating a
smart stroller when they became parents in 2020. Realizing how physically clemanding it is to move around
with babies, they set the goal of developing a stroller that lends parents an extra pair of eyes and hands while
they are on the go.

Ella also has a self-driving function, a feature which can
be used when the baby is not in the pram. The smart
stroller propels (iB) itself if a parent or childminder
wants to engage with the child while on the move.
Safety is always a top priority. Ella's intelligent adaptive
braking system makes use of multilevel braking
technology that keeps it within arm’s length and ensures
that the stroller always stops when the user does. It also
keeps Ella stationary (Gi) when unattended, removing
concerns about a runaway pram.
Powered by a dual-motor drive system, Ella
gives harassed (iif) parents an easy time
When they take their babies ortoddlers (#5470

Ella on uphill slopes or bumpy pavements is
much easier than a regular stroller.Great Innovations
Ellas fitted with a number of cameras and sensors to detect potential hazards (fit), both moving and still,
such as pedestrians, bicycles, garbage bins, and streetiamps. The user is warned about possible collisions
(tit) by sounds and lights flashing on the handle.
Advanced technology will probably
never remove all the burdens
(fii) of parenthood. However, Ella
can certainly provide valuable help
With the tough task of taking children
out and about. To some parents, that
makes it well worth its US$ 3,300
