pamahalaan o tanggapan kung saan ginawa ang isang akda upang magamit sa
pagkakakitaan ang nasabing akda. Kabilang sa mga maaaring gawin ng nasabing

Tungkol Saan ang Modyul na Ito

Ang module 1 sa EPP 5 ay ginawa para sa mga mag-aaral ng EPP sa ikalimang

baitang upang mabigyan ng suplementaryong kagamitan sa pag-aaral.

Ang module na ito ay binubuo ng dalawang aralin na matatapos sa loob ng isang linggo.

Alamin

Ang pag-aalaga ng hayop ay isa sa mga pinagkukunan ng kabuhayan sa ating bansa.

Hindi lang ito nakatutulong sa dagdag kita kundi isang gawain na nagbibigay kasiyahan
bilang libangan.

Maraming hayop sa ating bansa na maaaring alagaan tulad ng baboy, baka, kalabaw,
kambing, manok, pato, pugo, isda at iba pa. Ang mga hayop na ito ay karaniwang inaalagaan
sa bukid, sakahan, o probinsya na may malawak na lupa at sakahan o pastulan.

Gayunpaman, may mga hayop din na maaaring alagaan kahit sa likod lang ng ating bahay
tulad ng manok at ibang kauri nito na may dalawang paa at pakpak. Maaari din tayong mag-
alaga ng isda tulad ng tilapia sa likod ng ating bahay kung may sapat na tubig.

Dapat may sapat na kaalaman ang nag-aalaga ng hayop upang ang mga ito ay malusog at
malinis at ligtas na kainin.

lalo na sa mga hayop na may dalawang paa at pakpak o kaya’y isda. Ang mga hayop na ito ay
mainam alagaan lalo na sa mga bata na tulad ninyo dahil madali lang ang pag-aalaga sa mga
ito.

Maraming kabutihan ang maidudulot sa pag-aalaga ng hayop. Ang pag-aalaga ng manok

at iba pang hayop na may dalawang paa at pakpak o kaya’y isda ay kapakipakinabang na
gawain. Ilan sa mga kabutihang maidudulot nito ay ang sumusunod:
 Napagkukunan ito ng pagkain tulad ng karne at itlog.

 Nakapagbigay dagdag kita sa mag-anak.

 Nagdudulot ito ng kasiyahan at libangan ng pamilya.

 Natugunan ang problema sa kakulangan ng pagkain sa bansa.

Sa araling ito ay matutuhan natin na ang pagsasaliksik sa internet ay makatutulong sa

pangangalap ng impormasyon sa pagpili ng hayop na alagaan. Malaking tulong din ang
pananaliksik upang malaman natin ang katangian, uri, pangangailangan, pamamaraan ng pag-
aalaga at mga karanasan ng mga taong nag-aalaga ng hayop o isda.
Ang kailangan sa pagsasaliksik ay mayroon kang gadgets at koneksyon sa internet
upang mabuksan mo ang google chrome. Kung walang internet maaari ring pumunta sa
internet cafe upang makasaliksik.

Basahin ang maikling kwento.

Si Melvin ay isang batang nasa ikalimang baitang. Mahilig sya sa hayop.

Nais niyang mag-alaga ng manok ngunit hindi niya alam kung paano ang
tamang pag-aalaga nito at kung anong uri ng manok ang kanyang aalagaan.
Naisipan niyang magsaliksik sa internet upang masagot ang kanyang mga
tanong.
Sa wakas ay alam na niya kung anong uri ng manok ang kanyang
aalagaan, kung saan niya ito makukuha, kung ano- ano ang mga katangian,
pangangailangan at pamamaraan sa pag-aalaga nito. Nalalaman din niya kung
sino ang mga taong may matagumpay na karanasan sa pag-aalaga ng hayop at
isda.
