Leyte Normal University would like to announce that due to the threat of
COVID-19 Pandemic, LNU Admission Application for College Freshmen and
Transferees is now ONLINE! Here's how:
Online Application Procedure
4. Log on to wwww.Inu.edu.ph.
Scroll down to Quick Links, which is found at the bottom of the page.
Click Admission Application Form.
Sign in using your e-mail.
Read the instructions carefully before filling out the form.
Fill out the form including the COVID-19 Student Information section. Once
done, click Submit.

7. You will be notified regarding the status of your application through SMS or
email later.
Qualifications for Application:
Any student who is a graduate from a DepEd-accredited high school,
Indigenous People (IP), and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), may apply for
admission to Leyte Normal University based on the following qualifications:
1. Grade 12 senior high school students who are expecting to graduate before
SY. 2021 - 2022
2. A General Point Average (GPA) of, at least, 80% for a non-licensed degree
program and 85% for a licensed degree program applicant (Approved by the
Academic Council in November 2018)
Passing the interview
For applicants for Teacher Certificate Program, they should have already
finished a college degree from a CHED-recognized college or university and
must have a GPA of, at least, 2.0 in the degree program s/he finished5. Transfer applicants who have already taken units in college
+ Should have a GPA of not lower than 2.0 of the ratings s/he got in the
subjects taken from the previous school
+ Should earn only a maximum of 50% of the units of the degree he/she
would like to pursue in his/her previous college or university
+ Should satisfy the requirements of the __receiving
unit/department/program
NOTE: All applicants shall satisfy all admission requirements of the university and that
of the accepting unit/department/program. Please log on to www.inu.edu.ph or

Documentary Requirements for Online Admission Application:
1. Duly accomplished Online Admission Application Form
2. Asscanned copy OR a photograph of Grade 12 card showing the grades on
all subjects during the first semester, LRN and Strand, or Official Transcript
of Records from the school last attended for transferees
3. Arecent (within 6 months) decent SOLO FULL-BODY photo of applicant with
a plain background
NOTE: Alll these documents shall be submitted online (www.Inu.edu.ph.)
Criteria for Application Evaluation
In consideration of the critical situation that we are in due to COVID-19, which
hampers the mobility of many, and so as not to compromise the health and safety of
our employees and applicants, LNU shall forego the College Admission Test (CAT),
which has been part of the admissions criteria. Thus, only the following shall be used
as bases for evaluation. The percentages allocation may be determined by the unit
where the program applied for belongs.
Grade 12 Grade Point Average (GPA) on the First Semester - 35%
General Average in the Course/s Relevant to the Program - 20%
Applied for
Performance in the Interview 45%
