OVERVIEW In light of the Expanded Implementation of the in-person
component of Kaway Aralan sa Bagong Kadawyan, the Office of Admissions of the
Philippine Normal University, the National Center for Teacher Education, will return to
administering admission test as part of the screening of the applicants who aspire to be
future educators. The Office migrated all its transactions to online processes including
the Undergraduate Admissions Screening.
The Philippine Normal University Admission Test will be administered with high
compliance to the health protocols set by the IATF; from the application procedures to
the following steps an applicant must take until he/she is enrolled as an undergraduate
student of Inang Pamantasan. The Office made sure that the application experience for
the applicants will be both practical and safe as applicants can access and apply for
PNU within the comforts of their own homes, conserving expenses and the effort to
travel. This new application procedure also prevents further transmission of the COVID-
19 physical or face-to-face transactions may bring.
The Philippine Normal University first and foremost, puts the wellbeing of all her
students, undergraduates and applicants alike.
Applicants will be selected based on their scores on the admission test. The said
admissions screening will then be concluded with an online interview.
PNU, through the Office of Admissions assures aspiring educators that applications are
still being accepted, regardless of where they are from. The University also accepts
applicants with disabilities as we believe that no impairment may hinder the
determination of any applicant to uphold the excellence, discipline, truth the Philippine
Normal University observes.
Moving forward starts with each one of us. With the learnings obtained from the past
years living even with the threat of the virus, we can make sound choices on how to
protect ourselves and each other while getting back into a more normal life.
