6.0.2.1 Multimeter
‘A multimeter is used to measure voltage and low levels of current in alive system and continuity in a
switched-off system. There are several types available in the market. Adigital multimeter and an analog
multimeter are shown in Figure 6.23. They are designed to be used on energized circuits and care
must be exercised when testing.
