Kohlberg's stages of moral development consist of six stages arranged in three levels of complexity. The document discusses the "Heinz Dilemma" case study where a man considers stealing a drug to save his wife's life. The author believes Heinz should not steal, as wrong is wrong even if everyone does it, and right is right even if no one follows it. Stealing would be a crime that puts Heinz in prison, against principles of right and wrong.

I have learned about Kohlberg’s stages of moral development in this lesson.
The framework of Kohlberg’s theory
consists of six stages arranged sequentially in successive tiers of complexity. He organized his six stages into three general levels of moral development. At the end of the video, there’s a situation presented, which is the “THE HEINZ DILEMMA.” Given the situation where Heinz and his wife are in critical condition, personally, I think that Heinz should not steal the drug because he would be put in prison for his crime. The situation will really test the principles that we have as a person but what is right is right and wrong is wrong. Wrongdoing will never be justified and become right. Wrong is wrong even if everyone is doing it, and right is right even if no one is doing it.
