DELLAG LA 65 AF has excellent brushability which provides uniform, even and better coverage and will not discolor with age, Usage DELLAG LA 65 AF is recommended for application as a durable antifungal, mold resistant protective coating for insulation over different types of air conditioning ducts and cold water piping, when applied in multiple Coats with Suitable mesh reinforcement or canvas cloth embedded in between two coats. DELLAG LA 65 AF alo can be used over Polystyrene foam, polyurethane foam and ‘other foam insulations. Installation Procedure General 1, DELLAG LA 65 AF can be applied by brush, roller or airless spray. For airless. spray select a nozzle size of 0.028(0.70 mm). Ensure the suitability of the equisment Drior to applicaton.Surface preparation All surfaces to be coated must de clean, dry and free from dust, dist, oil, grease and any other contaminants. Application 1. Apply an even first coat of DELLAG LA 65 AF at 1.2 to 2.0 M* per liter (70-80 sq. ft per gallon), 2. Embed the lagging fabric or reinforcement into the wet coating and impregnate. Smooth out to avoid wrinkles and ensure 5 cm overiapping at al seams. 3. Apply the top coat of DELLAG LA 65 AF immediately at_coverage of 1.2 to 2.0 M’ per liter (70 to 80 sq. ft per gallon). Ensure the lagging cloth or reinforcement is fully covered with the top coal. ‘Actual coverage may vary, depend on the type, nature and evenness of the surface and the application method. ‘Additional protection of vapor battler is recommended for application or installation at areas where the relative atmospheric humidity level is higher than 75% for protonged period or the installed pipaline contains refrigerant, brine, chilled water etc. Wherever required, the application rate of DELLAG LA 65 AF can be increased to enhance the final applied coatino thickness. ‘The actual dry film thickness of the application may vary with the type of reinforcement used, Always test foils and paper facing for adhesion requirements, prior to application. Never apply DELLAG 65 AF, if rain is imminent. DELLAG LA 65 AF contains no asbestos, lead, mercury of any other hazardous materials. Shelf Lite When stored in original unopened containers @ shelf life of eighteen. months is expected. Cleaning Clean brush and equipment with fresh water when wet. Dried coating may be removed with proprietary cleaning solvents. Health and Safety Generally safe, non toxic and non flammable in wet condition. However, avoid prolonged skin contact. Use of gloves is advisable. IF eyes are affected with DELLAG LA 65 AF, rinse with excess amount of clean fresh water. If ingested, see medical attention immediately. ‘Ventilation to the working area is desirable.
