Below you will find the Version 2.0 for Psion Ability Tier System or P.A.T.S. The
information below is by Baal Domiel and is for those wanting to learn under Baal.
This is not the only paradigm. If you choose to live by this and be a fellow Baalite
then you're more than welcome.

Note from Baal:

In Psionics and the Metaphysical there are many types and flavors of abilities. There is a common
misconception with new Psions that one can jump into anything at any time. Some of come to Psion
misconception with new Psions that one can jump into anything at any time. Some of come to Psion
Nation already "able" to do one or more of these. But what most do not understand is while there
are latent abilities and abilities that you in time have stumbled on there is a process. One should
complete the prerequisites of certain abilities before moving on. One should train abilities and skills
prior to whatever ability it is that you are training to get better at it.

To help Psions understand the levels of progression I have made this Psion Ability Tier System. It
starts from tier 1 to tier 5; or T1 to T5. Tier one abilities are basic abilities that anyone can jump into
at any time and Tier 5 abilities are the hardestClickabilities

Psionic Core Skills and Abilities

Latent Psionic Abilities (LPA's) - Abilities that some can be born with. Found
in Natural Psions. Abilities sprout at young age, raw, and untrained.

Latent Psionic Abilities (LPA's) (close)

Precognition - Comes as Precognitive Dreams or Visions. Able to see the


future.

Clairvoyant Types - Lists all Clairvoyant Types.

Latent Empathy - More than just Passive Empathy that everyone has to a
small degree, Latent Empathy is Active Empathy that is stronger than
Passive Empathy.

Latent Telepathy - Ability to Passively create T2 or higher Connections to


Target and Communicate in many forms other than speech.

Intuitive Aptitude - Higher Learning in which the Psion only needs to see
how something is done in order to mimic and learn to near perfection.

Photo or Umbra Affinity - Rare. Psion with a Energetic Affinity to True


Darkness and True Light.

Psionic Foundations [T0] - Skills that everyone Psion should learn first.

Psionic Foundations [T0] (close)

Patience - Self Explanatory.

(No prerequisite needed.)

Sensory Attunement - Training all four senses.

(No prerequisite needed.)

Visualization - Extremely needed for Psionics. Needed to visualize

energy.

Novice Psionics (Tier One Skills) [T1] - Skills that a Psion should learn after the
Psionic Foundations are trained.

Novice Psionics (Tier One Skills) [T1] (close)

Energy Manipulation T1- Skills learned help absorb, redirect, and release
energy.

Energy Constructs T1 - Skills learned will help mold and command


energy.

Imbuing - This skill will help store and maintain energy within objects.
Requires Energy Constructs T1 & Energy Manipulation T1.

Flaring - Skills learned will help vibrate and illuminate energy radiating
from Energy System.
Requires Energy Manipulation T1.

Auric Sight - This skill helps a Psion visualize the energy of others people's
Energy Systems.

Beginner Empathy [T1] - Active Empathy learned here will help read
energy radiating from a target's energy system (aura).

Proprioception - Moving past Psionic Foundations one will learn to sense


others near you. Used later for Projections.

Apprentice Psionics (Tier Two Skills) [T2] - Skills that a Psion should learn
after Tier One Skills.

Apprentice Psionics (Tier Two Skills) [T2] (close)

Energy Connections [T1] - This skill helps build one of the most useful
constructs in all of Psionics. Connections from yourself or objects to other
beings or objects.
Requires Energy Manipulation T1 and Energy Constructs T1.

Intermediate Empathy - Advancing from Beginners Empathy, this Active


Empathy now uses Energy Connections to increase information flow to
yourself.
Requires Energy Connections T1 and Basic Empathy T1.

Energy Shielding/ Armor - These skills help provide a Psion with more
defense/offense with energy defenses now being able to be create on
yourself or a target. See Psionic Armor or Psionic Shielding.
Requires Energy Manipulation T1-T5, Energy Constructs T1-T5, Energy
Connections T1-T5.

Basic Focal Points - This skill mixes other skills to create Focal Points that
can be used for a multitude of other skills including Projections.
Requires Energy Constructs T2 and optional Biolocation for Focal
Points T2.

Energy System Scanning - This skill helps create a Scanner Psion. Using
incoming energetic information they can scan a target for energy type,
afflictions, and weaknesses.
Requires Energy Connections T1, Energy Manipulation T1, and optional
Biolocation or Shadowing Out for T4-T5 Energy System Scanning.

Classic Elemental Kinetics [Psychokinesis] (Pyro, Aero, Geo, Hydro) - This


is a Mental Ability that can be used with Energy to manipulate the
elements to a small degree.
Requires Psionic Foundations T2+ and optional Energy Manipulation
T1, Energy Constructs T1, Energy Connections T1 with T1+ as a
booster.

Astral Projection - The first tier of out of body projections. This projection
type will allow the Psion to Project to the Astral Plane; a mental plane in
which all those project add to a collective imaginary landscape.
Requires Psionic Foundations T1-T2, Energy Constructs T1, Energy
Connections T1.​

Adept Psionics (Tier Three Skills) [T3] - Skills that a Psion should learn after
Tier Two Skills.

Adept Psionics (Tier Three Skills) [T3] (close)

Intermediate Energy Connections - This skill adds onto Energy


Connections with the creation of a two-way connection and reinforcing
connections with layering constructs.
Requires Energy Manipulation T2, Energy Connections T2

Energetic Warfare Skills - Psionic skills aimed at decreasing a targets


effectiveness in battle using energetic-based techniques.
Requires Energy Manipulation T3, Energy Constructs T2+, Energy
Connections T2, Boosts to T3+ with Projections, Empathy T2+, Flaring,
Imbuing.
Imbuing.

Telepathy - This Social Psionic Skill uses advanced connections to link to a


target and then to communicate.
Requires Energy Connection T2+, Energy Manipulation T2, Boosts with
Biolocation and Psionic Foundations T2.

Astral Sight - A broad ability that increases proprioception and uses


sensory attunement to view beings and projectors in the three projection
types.

Biolocation - The Second Tier of Projections. Biolocation is a Projection of


your Soul on the Physical Plane. Short ranged until trained, allows for a
manifestation of abilities in the Biolocative Layer of the Physical Plane.
Requires Energy Manipulation T2+, Focal Point Creation, Psionic
Foundations T2, Astral Projection, Energy Constructs T2+ can act as
support.

Adept Energetic Constructs - With Adept Energetic Constructs it indicates


that a single construct has more than three scripts and three generators.
Requires Energy Constructs T2, Energy Manipulation T2, and Energy
Connections T2.

Psionic Thermodynamics - With Psionic Thermodynamics a Psion is able


to heat up the radiant energy around their body or a construct of energy
such as a Psi Ball.
Requires Energy Manipulation T2+, Energy Constructs T2, Psionic
Foundations T2

Cryokinesis - With the mental Kinesis abilities the Psion is able to slow the
movement of atoms to lower the temperature of an object.

Electrokinesis - With the mental Kinesis abilities the Psion is able to


introduce small amounts of electricity Kinesis skills, control the flow of
electricity, or manipulate electrical devices.

Expert Psionics (Tier Four Skills) [T4] - Skills that a Psion should learn after
Tier Three Skills.

Expert Psionics (Tier Four Skills) [T4] (close)

Tendriling - Used as a Gateway to a Target's Energy System, Subconscious


Plane, or simply a Entry point for Energetic Warfare. This advanced form of
an energetic construct has many uses.
Requires Energy Constructs T3, Energy Manipulation T3, Biolocation
needed for Guidance, Empathy T3.
Advanced BioLocation - Long range Biolocation that can also be used to
pull targets projections into the Biolocative Plane without physically
knowing so. More of a skill than an actual ability as it takes time and
practice to get to this point of Biolocation.
Requires Biolocation, Energy Manipulation T3, Psionic Foundations T2,
Energy Constructs T3 as Booster, Auric Sight T2, Energetic Warfare as
Defense.

Biokinesis - A very advanced form of Psychokinesis that allows the Psion


to manipulate very small parts of cells within the body. Considered to be
on the border of Bound Abilities.

BiLocation - The Skill that allows a Projector to create an independent


duplicate of his or her projection. The more this skill is trained the less
energy required to duplicate and maintain more than one projection.
Requires Biolocation T2, Astral Projection as a Booster, Energy
Manipulation T3, Energy Constructs act as Secondary Projection
Booster, Empathy T3.

Empathic Manipulation - This advanced form of Empathy allows the


Psion to instead of just read and understand emotion from energy it will
allow the Psion to influence the energy within a target to thus change the
current emotions and state of mind.
Requires Energy Manipulation T2+, Energy Constructs T3+, Tendrilling,
Energetic Warfare, Biolocation T1+, Empathy T2, and Psionic
Foundations T2.

Memory Manipulation - Mainly used with Mind Hacking. This skill involves
a Psion to gain access to the Energy System, or Subconscious Plane, etc,
access the Memories of the Target, and manipulate small memories. No
one can change or delete Core Memories.
Requires Energy Manipulation T2+, Energy Constructs T3+, Tendrilling,
Energetic Warfare, Biolocation T1+, Empathy T2, Psionic Foundations
T2, and Mind Hacking.

Mind Hacking - This set of skills allows a Psion to gain access into a
target's Subconscious Plane or Memory Bank. This set of skills can be used
for other things as well.
Requires Energy Manipulation T3, Energy Constructs T3+, Tendrilling,
Energetic Warfare, Biolocation T2+, Empathy T3+, Psionic Foundations
T2+, Boosts to Mind Hacking T5 with Shadowing Out.

Soul Diving - With an Entry and Certain Projection Types a Psion can gain
access to a target's Subconscious Plane. Within a target's Subconscious
Plane they can use Constructs to bring about a manifested world created
by the target's subconscious. This mental plane can be very unstable and
full of mental defenses but if explored could explain the target more than a
energetic scan.

Psionic Armor [T2] - Psionic Armor is reinforcing one's Energy System with
Standard to Advance Energy Constructs.

Psionic Armor [T2] (close)


Active Psionic Armor - Skill at initially creating the Psionic Armor.
Requires Energy Constructs T1 and Connections T2.

Energetic Layering - Layering Shield Constructs over existing Psionic


Armor.

Requires Energy Constructs T2.

EM Compensation - Adding Coded Programs to defend heavily against


Electromagnetic Energy.

Requires Energy Programming T2.

Kinetic Compensation - Adding Coded Programs to defend heavily


against Kinetic Energy.

Requires Energy Programming T2.

Thermic Compensation - Adding Coded Programs to defend heavily


against Thermic Energy.

Requires Energy Programming T2.​

Psionic Shielding [T2] - Psionic Shielding is creating a Passive or Active


Construct around the Psion or a Target that will help Shield it from a certain
effect.

Psionic Shielding [T2] (close)

Passive Shield - A Passive Shield Construct allows a harder shield with less
defensive scripts at a lower energy requirement. They last longer but are
not as strong as Active Shields.

Active Shield - An Active Shield Construct is a burst type shield that can be
loaded with heavy defensive scripts at a higher energy requirement to
activate. They burst out the shield with a desired effect and for such last a
very short amount of time but are stronger than Passive Shields.

Shield Hardener - Using the Energy Manipulation Technique of the Shell


Layering to reinforce a Passive or Active Shield Construct.

EM Compensation - Adding Coded Programs to defend heavily against


Electromagnetic Energy.
Kinetic Compensation - Adding Coded Programs to defend heavily
against Kinetic Energy.

Thermic Compensation - Adding Coded Programs to defend heavily


against Thermic Energy.

Energetic Warfare [T3] - Energetic Warfare (EWAR) decreases a target's


effectiveness and increases the Psion's effectiveness.

Energetic Warfare [T3] (close)

Psionic Countermeasures (PCMs) - PCM's are used to make the target


lose all focus, disconnecting all projections, and white noising visualization.
Requires Connections T3, Energy Programming T3, Biolocation, and Energy
Constructs T2.

Tracking Disruption (TD) - Tracking disruption is used to decrease the


optimal range and falloff of your target's abilities.
Requires Connections T3, Energy Programming, Active Energetic
Shield T2, and Energy Constructs T2.

Psionic Damping (Damps) - Psionic Dampening is the counterpart of


Psionic Boosting. A dampener can be used to decrease the Passive and
or Active Recharge Rate of a Psion's Energy System or Energy
Producing Construct.
Requires Connections T3, Energy Programming, and Energy
Constructs T2.

Psionic Boosting (Boosts) - Psionic Boosting can increase and or


overcharge a targets Passive/Active Recharge Rate within the Targets
Energy System.
Requires Connections T3, Energy Programming, and Energy
Constructs T2.

Energy System Warfare (Neuting) - Psionic Energy System Warfare is


defined as direct action taken to reduce or eliminate the energy stored
within your target and can be accomplished with either a Destabilizer
Technique or a Vampire Technique.
Requires Connections T4, Energy Programming T2, Energy
Constructs T3, optional Projections T3.

Cloaking - With Cloaking a Psion is able to mask their Energy


Signature within Connections, their Energy System, their Radiant
Energy created by their Energy Signature, Projected Abilities,
Projections, etc. etc.​

Known Bound Abilities - Abilities that are known in the Psionic Community not to
Known Bound Abilities - Abilities that are known in the Psionic Community not to
work, unreachable, or simply have massive restrictions. Those claiming to use listed
abilities should provide proof of their claim. Some abilities listed below will and

Most latent abilities can not be learned or taught. It's really you have it or you don't.

your missing chronok unless it falls in some other thing, biok, lunark unless you put
it with umbrak, and are you sure we can't junp tiers cause I was talking about it with
someone and we both agreed that either we can jump or there are some abilitys
you need to join to the latent class.

ChronoKinesis would be changing your perception, mostly through adrenaline or


faster reactions. It's a theorized ability that most can't do or record. Lunarkinesis is
really a stranger form of Hydrokinesis because the moon controls the oceans tides
and stuff.

For you to jump tiers you have to be able to do the prerequisite in the other tier to
some extent.

I'm not sure if this would count as a latent ability but certain naturally talented
pyrokinetics and cryokinetics will have varying resistances to their respective
temperature affinity.

Pyro would be considered a Classical Kinetic type. That includes Water, Fire, Air,
Earth. As for Chronokinesis I do not know where to put that yet. Plus I do not know
the mechanics of Chrono.
