"The Only Love We Should Have". Let's not desire anything.

Only One Desire WE

should have : to Love GOD. This is why the Saints say : Take heed of what you
allow to descend from the mind to your heart, do not allow anything to descend.
Because what descends from the Mind to the Heart there’s the danger of loving it.
Even worship it as a god. Make it an idol in the place of God. And this is the worst of
sins: Idolatry. Someone for example, loves a person. The person goes from the
mind to the Heart and says : I adore my wife. Or : “I adore my child”. This person is
an idolater. They have placed their wives or their children in the place of God. And if
God takes their beloved person they go crazy. And they blame God. God, who they
never believed in nor did they worship but know very well how to blame or even
curse at. For what reason? For taking away the idol they had worshipped. Someone
may even die from such a loss. But this is not the right way to love someone. The
first and utmost love should be towards God. I’d say the only love. Why the only
love? Because it’s the LORD’s First commandment: Thou shalt love the LORD Thy
GOD with ALL Thy Heart. This means: “You should Give All Your Heart to Me”. And
because You Love God with All Your Heart, then You love your wife and your
children and your relatives and all the people, because You Love God.
