INDEFINITE PRONOUNS

Indefinite pronoun doesn’t refer to a specific person, place or thing.

*The way you decide whether the verb should be singular or plural is based on what
follows these terms. Uncountable nouns are always singular

ALL of the desserts were delicious
NONE of the equipment was delivered
NONE of the computers were delivered

We use WHAT when we’re talking about things in a general and broad sense whereas
we use which to choose between two or more options.
WHAT color do you like?
WHICH color do you prefer – red or blue?
1. ____ kind of music do you like?
2. ____ instrument is easier to play – the guitar or the piano?
3. ____course was more interesting – Sociology or Psychology?
4. ____ kind of computer do you want?
5. ____ room would you prefer – with an ocean view or a city view?
6. ____ exam do you have to take – the IELTS or the TOEFL?
