Leave Management Guidelines for Employers

This document provides guidelines on how to handle public holidays, annual leave, sick leave, maternity leave, and paternity leave for employees in different situations. It addresses what the company should do if the holiday falls on an off day, rest day, or during different types of leave. For example, if a public holiday falls on an annual leave day, the holiday will be deemed not to have been taken and the annual leave will continue. If an employee falls sick on a public holiday, they will observe the holiday and any sick leave will be deemed not to have been taken.
