The Flesh (06)

Romans 8:7-8 Because the mind set on the flesh is enmity against God; for it is not
subject to the law of God, for neither can it be. 8 And those who are in the flesh cannot
please God.

Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man has been crucified with [Him] in order
that the body of sin might be annulled, that we should no longer serve sin as slaves;

Galatians 5:24 But they who are of Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its
passions and its lusts.

Romans 8:13 For if you live according to the flesh, you must die, but if by the Spirit
you put to death the practices of the body, you will live.

Romans 7:18, 20-21, 23 For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, nothing good
dwells; for to will is present with me, but to work out the good is not. 20 But if what I do
not will, this I do, it is no longer I that work it out but sin that dwells in me. 21 I find
then the law, with me who wills to do the good, because the evil is present with me. 23
But I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind and
making me a captive to the law of sin which is in my members. 24 Knowing this, that
our old man has been crucified with Him in order that the body of sin might be
annulled, that we should no longer serve sin as slaves; 7:24 Wretched man that I am!
Who will deliver me from the body of this death?

Galatians 5:19-21 And the works of the flesh are manifest, which are such things as
fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy,
outbursts of anger, factions, divisions, sects, 21 Envyings, bouts of drunkenness,
carousings, and things like these, of which I tell you beforehand, even as I have said
before, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Romans 3:20 Because out of the works of the law no flesh shall be justified before
Him; for through the law is the clear knowledge of sin.

Galatians 2:16 And knowing that a man is not justified out of works of law, but
through faith in Jesus Christ, we also have believed into Christ Jesus that we might be
justified out of faith in Christ and not out of the works of law, because out of the works
of law no flesh will be justified.

Genesis 6:3, 12 And Jehovah said, My Spirit will not strive with man forever, for he
indeed is flesh; so his days will be one hundred twenty years. 12 And God looked on the
earth, and behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted its way upon the earth.

Philippians 3:3-6 For we are the circumcision, the ones who serve by the Spirit of God
and boast in Christ Jesus and have no confidence in the flesh, 4 Though I myself have
something to be confident of in the flesh as well. If any other man thinks that he has
confidence in the flesh, I more: 5 Circumcised the eighth day; of the race of Israel, of the
tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew born of Hebrews; as to the law, a Pharisee; 6 As to zeal,
persecuting the church; as to the righteousness which is in the law, become blameless.

Exodus 30:31-32 And you shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, This shall be a
holy anointing oil to Me throughout your generations. 32 Upon the flesh of man it shall
not be poured, nor shall you make any like it, according to its composition; it is holy,
and it shall be holy to you.

Exodus 17:14, 16 And Jehovah said to Moses, Write this as a memorial in a book and
recite it to Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven.
16 For he said, For there is a hand against the throne of Jah! Jehovah will have war with
Amalek from generation to generation.

Colossians 2:11 In Him also you were circumcised with a circumcision not made with
hands, in the putting off of the body of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ,

Romans 8:8 And those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

Galatians 5:24 But they who are of Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its
passions and its lusts.

Galatians 2:2 And I went up according to revelation, and I laid before them the gospel
which I proclaim among the Gentiles, but privately to those who were of repute, lest
perhaps I should be running, or had run, in vain.

Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man has been crucified with [Him] in order
that the body of sin might be annulled, that we should no longer serve sin as slaves;

Romans 8:13 For if you live according to the flesh, you must die, but if by the Spirit
you put to death the practices of the body, you will live.

Colossians 3:5 Put to death therefore your members which are on the earth:
fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and greediness, which is idolatry;

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life has freed me in Christ Jesus from the law
of sin and of death.
