Further ship staff contacted Mr, Swamy of Elcome, India and informed that till now VSAT is offline, Later Elcome and Speedcast support guided on board engineer to traced Rx/Tx cable from ACU to antenna and found ok. Later Speedcast over the phone carried out some settings and got Rx locked, however, TX was not getting locked. Engineer checked and found that the BUC is not getting ON. Suspected BUC, BUC power supply or ACU malfunctioning / faulty. During discussion with Speedcast it was decided that email setup to be configured over Sailor FBB150. Guided the engineer over phone to check FBB data to be activate and service provider as NSSL. Further contacted NSSI for suitable email software to which they informed that terminal has open internet and user can use any compression software. Speedcast forwarded the GT mail credentials and setup file configuration. Engineer board the vessel on 11" October and loaded and configured GT mail software. Send / receive email through GT mail software found successfully done. Tested successfully outgoing voice cal from FBB, Engineer gave the procedure to master and ship staff for the same.
