Conclusion Paragraph

Conclusion paragraphs begin with an opposing view with a citation. Your conclusion paragraph
must follow the essay format guidelines (double-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman font, etc.).
Use the Man's Best Friend Revised essay and Outline as an example - your conclusion paragraph
format should look like that.

• The conclusion paragraph must begin with the OPPOSING VIEW AND 1 CITATION.
• You must restate the Thesis Statement/Argument do NOT copy and paste it.
• The last sentence of the paragraph must make a conclusion based on the analysis of your
evidence with a citation - NO NEW EVIDENCE. Include a citation that supports you conclusion.
Here you can use a quote if you want.

Your conclusion paragraph must have the complete references in APA style 7 for your citations
at the end of the paragraph. Your references must be in alphabetical order. I will not proofread
your assignment - that is your job! If you have any questions about format or sources, ASK ME!

PROOFREAD YOUR PARAGRAPH AND REFERENCES CAREFULLY!!

You may use long quotations of 40 or more words (block quotes) but no more than 2 per essay!
