Dr. Hameed, the son of Abdul Hameed Khan from Kakrool, Pallandri, district Sudhnuti = AU&K, has successfully earned his Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Geology at the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Muzaffarabad. Under the supervision of Prof. Emeritus Dr. Muhammad Rustam Khan, Dr. Hameed conducted integrated geophysical surveys in Hazara KPK, part of AJK, and Northern Pakistan. The delegation was briefed about UAJK's educational programs, administrative structure, and research initiatives in various fields by UAJK's Director of Planning and Development, Prof. Dr. Kh. Ansar Yasin, Director of Youth Engagement, Prof. Dr. Wajid Aziz Lone, and Public Relations Officer, Mubashar Naqvi. The visit was an opportunity for the trainee officers to learn about UAJK's services and ongoing _ educational programs, and they also paid a visit to the monument of the martyrs in the City campus to offer Fatiha for the martyred faculty and students of UAJK in Earthquake 2005. The NIM delegation's visit to UAJK was an excellent opportunity for them to gain knowledge about the institute's academic and research —initiatives =~ and administrative structure. The visit not only provided them with valuable insights into UAJK's services but also enabled them to pay homage to the martyrs who lost their lives in the devastating earthquake of 2005.
