Filling procedure of the consumer forum
The following procedure of the filing the petition to the Consumer Court:
Sir, in pursuance of filling of the case before the local consumer court you have to approach before the
court by taking the print out of the petition along with the printout of the documents including the copy
of the Legal Notice.
That after downloading the same you have to attach the same with the complaint by the way of annexure
wherein you have to approach before the court to submit the file.
Before submitting the file you have to go to the notary section of the court wherein you have to notarize
the whole file before submitting the same to the register of the court.
That after the notary will duly be done you have to visit the office of the register of the consumer court to
submit the file and the register will give you a date for the first appearance which is called admission.
On the day of the admission, you have to describe the very fact/ disputed fact before the Hon'ble Judge
of the consumer forum wherein after the admission of the fact judge will give you a date for the notice.
on the day of the notice you have to go to the court and you have to visit the courtroom to take the
notice proforma and you have to send the notice and after that, you have to submit the original copy of
the postal receipt of the notice.
That after the same the opposite party will appear to submit the written statement and after submission
the written statement you will be provided with the next date for the evidence by way of the affidavit,
on that day you have to submit your evidence/ the attached documents and the brief facts once again by
signing the affidavit on your name.
That after submitting the same court will give you another date for arguments.
That on the day of arguments the opposite party will appear before the court and after the final
argument the court will decide the matter and on next date, the judgment will be given by the court
