About the job

Reporting to the manager, reliability engineering, you will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Cameco’s mechanical integrity program.
The program aims to ensure that physical assets subject to the program are properly, consistently, and regularly inspected over their life cycle to eliminate or minimise the
consequences of failure at the lowest possible cost, all while maximising asset life. You will also assist with asset investment planning.

Requirements of the position:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or structural engineering
Minimum of eight years of progressive experience in the reliability and/or integrity engineering field
Equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered
Knowledge of CSA B51, B52
Experience with Risk-Based Inspection methods
Holding or eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS)

Assets
Knowledge of SAP-PM and Bentley AssetWise APM software
Experience with pressure piping, pressure vessels (including boilers), tanks, heat exchangers, pressure relief devices, etc.
Knowledge of Boilers & Pressure Vessels Act and Regulations (Saskatchewan, Ontario, Federal COHSR Part V)
Knowledge of related codes from API, ASME, ASTM, ANSI etc. and NBIC (National Board Inspection code)
Certified in any or all of: API 510 inspector, API 570 inspector, API 653 inspector, National Board In-service Pressure Equipment Inspector, TSASK Pressure Equipment
Inspector Class 2 or equivalent provincial certification from TSSA, ABSA, etc.
CGSB level I or II, PCN, or ASNT Level II certification.
Effective communication, collaboration, coaching/mentoring and interpersonal skills
