Jusuf Herawan (Director of Operation) ‘At Manado Dear Pak Jusuf, Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic spread in Indonesia and the first confirmed case in North Maluku, the Management of industrial Park has decided to lockdown the Tanjung Ulie complex. Since WBN will be on lockdown and STM will be outside the lockdown area, WBN has decided that for the work to be efficient: 1. To suspend Coastal Mining Operations, and continue mining in Kao Rahai only, with the hauling of ore from Kao Rahai along the isolated hauling road to prevent contact with outsiders. 2. All STM mining employees will need to move to Kao Rahai with strict control on access and exit. To facilitate this, WBN have a 120 man camp available at KR and 30 beds at the Ake Mein camp, with the possibility to extend the KR camp. WBN will provide these Camps to STM to support the mining, and in addition, are prepared to provide assistance with logistics, food and water for the camp. All personnel should be isolated from outside contact while in lockdown mode. This means going to the local villages for logistics/food supply or visiting friends and family is strictly prohibited. For the sake of clarity, the area of Kao Rahai Camp, the Hauling Road, and Tanjung Ulie will be the designated lockdown areas with no outside contact to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
