Summary:

This article mentions air pollution, which is one of the types of

environmental pollution in society. According to the report, the
potential consequences of air pollution cause many effects on
unborn babies through their mothers. The particles can be easily
found in almost every part of the human body, such as the heart,

brain, lung, and liver. It is the main factor that causes health
problems for people at a young age. For instance, during the
pregnancy, a huge amount of black carbon particles were found in
the mother’s breath and then came to the foetus. In modern society,

the growth of various industries is the reason why particles become

bigger and bigger. Almost all of the particles in the bodies of
nonsmoking mothers in Scotland and Belgium were from fossil fuels

in vehicles, waste from factories, and toxic chemicals. Therefore, the

process of foetal brain development was disturbed. Moreover, the
effects of air pollution also happen with adults whose brains need to
interact with the lower quality atmosphere outside due to traffic
congestion or some unexpected events in the day. To conclude,
following the article, it is an urgency that the government has to

take responsibility for facing with air pollution, which is one of the
prominent issues not only with foetuse but also with the world’s
population.

Respone:

Environmental pollution is always a major concern in society. From

my perspective, the skyrocket in developed countries, such as
economies, industries,... etc., is the main factor causing a lot of
consequences for human life. Firstly, although people can improve
their standard of living by using advanced technologies, the huge
amount of waste emissions that they generate every day becomes
dangerous for their environment. This has caused an extremely
significant situation that affects not only the quality of life but also
the future generation. Second, pregnant women should be protected
from exposure to black carbon, particularly in smoke. It also
mentioned the necessity of raising resident awareness in each
country by reducing gas from transport or limiting smoking habits.
As far as I am concerned, smog is always an exotic problem,
especially in Ho Chi Minh City. The percentage of people with
diseases related to the lungs, heart or liver in VN is rising and
showing no signs of decreasing in a couple of year. In my opinion, it is
necessary for people to reduce their emissions by using public
transportation and recycling. In Vietnam, air pollution is getting bigger
and bigger day by day because of globalization. The more brands in
Vietnam Nam, the more waste we have day by day. For example, the
largest percentage of particles is from the fashion industry, such as
clothes, shoes, or accessories. Through this report, Vietnamese husbands
need to learn how to take care of their wife’s health during pregnancy.
Then, they will stop using tobacco because it is not only good for their
kids but also for their health and their family.

I believe that this report is completely credible for several reasons.

Firstly, the article provides detailed information with evidence from
WHO ( "more than 90% of the world’s population lives in places where
air pollution is above"), the study research (at Queen Mary University of
London and Hasselt University in Belgium) and other organizations.
Secondly, a few advertisements present credible information sources that
are objective and by reliable publishers. Finally, the popularity of the
guardian, which is used by people around the world
