Dear God, please give me wisdom in all I do in life. Help me to see my work as an
extension of your work through me. Help me to know and understand the value of
what I am doing, and to have discernment in my work so I can do it and serve you
through it. Help me to know where change may be needed, and give me wisdom
and courage to make those changes so my work can have the greatest impact
possible. Amen.

2 Talk About Big Issues: Thinking Together in Community

Dear God, be near me in my learning. Help me grow to be more like you, then
empower me and provide opportunities for me to learn about things in this world I
may know nothing about. Help me in my thinking and in my talking as I seek your
wisdom and desire to hear from you. Help me see the big issues in life as you see
them, so that my knowledge and understanding may reflect your Spirit in this
world. Amen.

3 Create and Follow a Flexible Plan: Completing Your

Project Bit by Bit
Dear God, as I look at the tasks for which I’m responsible, please help me to first
trust you. Help me to have faith that you will give me the knowledge I need so I
may complete the tasks successfully. Give me wisdom to create and implement an
intelligent, workable plan. And give me patience and endurance to complete it,
one step at a time. Amen.

4 Consider the Risk of Not Doing Something: Making Good
Decisions
Dear God, I ask that you be my decision maker. I give you permission to make
decisions on my behalf when possible. Please also give me wisdom to make the
decisions you want me to make—those that will benefit not just me but others as
well. Help me to make decisions that will allow me to have a bigger impact for
you in this world. Help me to be a wise thinker. Help me to hear you and to trust
you to lead me. Help me to place my future and whatever that looks like in your
hands. Help me to do whatever it is you would like for me to do, and to not be
afraid. Amen.

5 Don’t Start with “Um”: The Power of Thinking Before

Talking
Dear God, be in my speaking and in all I say. Help me to serve you when I
communicate. Help me to be clear and kind. May your love shine through me to
others. May there be no stumbling in my speech. Instead, put words in my mind,
and project them clearly through my mouth. Help me to trust you to direct every
word I speak. Help me in the small things and also in the big things, so my words
and, ultimately, what you want to do through me, will be done. Amen.

6 Share Your Experiences: Impacting Others with Your

Stories
Dear God, help me to be intentional and thoughtful about how my experiences can
be used to help others. Give me wisdom not to speak about anything you don’t
want me to convey. Give me courage and humility so I do not think too highly of
myself or allow the Enemy to defeat me in my thinking and sharing. May your
Spirit speak through me to others. May you impact others through me, and give
me wisdom and courage to be who you want me to be and to share what you want
me to share. Amen.
