Assemble Power Train Oil Pump

1. If the dowels were removed from body assembly (5), install the dowels until they extend 5.0 ± 0.5 mm (.20 ± .02 in) above the surface of the
body assembly.

2. If bearings (23) were removed, install the bearings in body assembly (5) with tool (A). Install the bearings with the joint 30° ± 15° toward port (22)
from the center line of the two bearings. Install the bearings to a depth of 1.50 ± 0.25 mm (.059 ± .010 in) below the surface of the body assembly.
The inside diameter of the bearings must be 31.785 ± 0.008 mm (1.2514 ± .0003 in) after installation.

3. If the dowels were removed from body assembly (3), install the dowels until they extend 5.0 ± 0.5 mm (.20 ± .02 in) above the surface of the
body assembly.

4. If bearings (24) were removed, use tool (A), and install the bearings in body assembly (3). Install the bearings with the joint 30° ± 15° toward
counterbore (25) from the center line of the two bearings. Install the bearings to a depth of 1.50 ± 0.25 mm (.059 ± .010 in) below the surface of the
body assembly. The inside diameter of the bearings must be 31.785 ± 0.008 mm (1.2514 ± .0003 in) after installation.

5. If bearings (27) were removed, install the bearings in cover assembly (7) with tool (A). Install the bearings with the joint 30° ± 15° toward
counterbore (26) from the centerline of the two bearings. Install the bearings to a depth of 1.50 ± 0.25 mm (.059 ± .010 in) below the surface of the
cover assembly. The inside diameter of the bearings must be 31.785 ± 0.008 mm (1.2514 ± .0003 in) after installation.

6. Install gear assemblies (13) and (15) in body assembly (5).

7. Install key (17) in gear assembly (15).

8. Put gears (4) and (19) in position on the gear assemblies.

9. Put O-ring seal (18) in position in the groove in body assembly (3). Put the body assembly in position on body assembly (5).

10. Install key (9) in gear assembly (15).

11. Put gears (2) and (10) in position on the gear assemblies.
