On September 13, photographer Malgorzata (Maggie) Saniewska will unveil the PlayMe Burlesque deck of cards at Mystique Ultra Lounge. PlayMe Burlesque is an entire photo exhibit featuring 54 of todays most beautiful, glamorous and sexy burlesque performers. The (f)emcee for the night will be Honi Harlow, a burlesque veteran who has played many of New Yorks theaters and burlesque clubs, and choreographed the burlesque numbers for the upcoming NBC TV show The Black Donnellys, produced by the Emmy Award-winning Paul Haggis. The launch party will consist of a red carpet preshow and three performance sets at 8, 9, and 10pm. A limited amount of $10 tickets will be available for the general public. A passion project born to Malgorzata (Maggie) Saniewska, PlayMe Burlesque showcases todays modern day American New Burlesque sex symbols in a style reminiscent of Alberto Vargas Pin-Up Girls of the 1940s. Many of these new pinups will be performing at the event, including Jo Boobs Weldon, the Headmistress and Founder of the New York School of Burlesque; Dame CuchiFrita of Brown Girls Burlesque; Delysia La Chatte, founder of Witching Hour Burlesque; Medianoche, last seen in Dita Von Teeses Strip Strip Hooray; Cheeky Lane, a 2010 graduate of the NY School Burlesque; Ms. Tickle, the Mystical Mistress of Tease; Gal Friday, Miss Coney Island 2009; Calamity Chang, the Asian Sexsation; Peekaboo Pointe, the Fastest Tassel Twirler from East to West; as well as the emcee, Honi Harlow. Also in the card deck of 54 are notables such as Dirty Martini, Julie Atlas Muz, Nastie Canasta, Gigi LaLaFemme, and Amber Ray. Born and raised in Warsaw, Poland, Malgorzata moved to New York in 2003. She interned for Sante D'Orazio Studios, Milk Studio, assisted Dan & Corina Lecca during NYC's Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in 2008 and has done photography work for ID Models, BMG Models, and Q Models. After shooting for the Garo Sparo & Cobos Couture clothing lines, her work in photography transitioned into a full time commitment.
