 In his factory, Labour went on strike on account of denial
of bonus and incentives
 Trade union Leader Babu Shankar who was affiliated to
Samaj Sanghatan Party
 On 2nd Feb, 2019, Labourers besieged the Bunglow of Mr.
Rahul Raghuvanshi at the behest of Babu Shankar, due to
which local police imposed Section 144 of Cr.PC and also
police detained several labourers U/s 151 of Cr.PC
 The family member of labourers filed a Habeas Corpus
petition on 6th Feb, 2019 under Article 226 and 227 of
Shennai High Court, challenging the detention and also
claimed compensation
 The Shennai High Court gave relief to the prayers of the
petitioners and also awarded compensation.
 Mr. Babu Shankar urged the opposition leaders of Ramil
Wadu assembly to broke a debate on Rahul Raghuvanshi’s
undue influence in detention of labourer and also to
demand resignation of Mr. Rahul Raghuvanshi from the
post of standing committee for Education & Environment,
However Rahul Raghuvanshi did not relent to this.
