Isambulo 14:13
Ngase ngizwa izwi livela ezulwini, lithi: “Loba ukuthi: Babusisiwe abafileyo abafele eNkosini
kusukela kulesi sikhathi.” “Yebo,” usho uMoya, “ukuze baphumule ekukhandlekeni kwabo;
ngokuba imisebenzi yabo iyabalandela.”

Kusho ukuthini ukubuyisa kulesi simo?

Ukubuyisa empeleni kusho ukuthi lokho uNkulunkulu asinikeze khona ekuqaleni, uma sesiqedile
ngakho, yini okufanele sikwenze ngengcebo yakhe? Kumele sibuyisele ngakuye.

Kwenzekani kuzo zonke izinto zethu lapho sifa?

1 kuThimothewu 6:7
ngokuba asilethanga lutho ezweni; kusobala ukuthi singemuke nalutho futhi

Amaguggu ale lizwe...

Awukwazi ukuthatha noma yini nawe. Ngakho kubalulekile ukwazi ukuthi yini okufanele uyenze
ngalokho, ngalezo zibusiso zezimali ngalesi sikhathi usaphila.

1. Kulungile ukujabulela ukuthatha umhlalaphansi

NgokukaLuka 12:16-21
16 Wabalandisa umfanekiso, wathi: “Izwe lomuntu othile onothileyo lathela kahle.
17 Wazindla phakathi kwakhe, wathi: ‘Ngizakwenzani, lokhu ngingenandawo engingabuthela kuyo
ukudla kwami, na?’
18 “Wayesethi: ‘Ngizakwenza lokhu: ngizakudiliza izinqolobane zami, ngakhe ezinkulu, ngibuthele
khona ukudla kwami konke nempahla yami.
19Bese ngithi kuwo umphefumulo wami: Mphefumulo, unempahla eningi ebekelelwe iminyaka
emmingi; phumula, udle, uphuze, ujabule.’
20“Kepha uNkulunkulu wathi kuye: ‘Wena siwula, ngalobu busuku umphefumulo wakho
uzakubizwa kuwe; pho-ke, izinto ozilungisileyo ziyakuba ngezikabani na?’
21“Kunjalo kozibekelela ingcebo enganothile kuNkulunkulu.”

UJesu ubiza indoda le ngesithutha / isiwula.

Iqiniso ukuthi uphilela le mpilo kuphela. Akacabangi nhlobo ngempilo yesikhathi esizayo,
uzicabangela yena kuphela hhayi abanye, hhayi umsebenzi kaNkulunkulu.

2. Ukuhlelwa kwengcebo yakho kungenza umsebenzi wakho weVangeli uqhubekele phambili

nasekufeni kwakho.
So even once a person has passed away, the financial benefits that God has blessed them with,
in large part because of their faithfulness during their life is going, to continue doing the work of
God afterwards.

We're talking about estate planning here.

The interesting thing, is none of us know the day of our deaths.

So what we wanna do is prepare for it
as if it could happen now;
our assets are in order, and we've taken stock
of what we have and what we plan to do with it.
So you'd have your will done
and your trust if you need a trust.

So what we're looking at, then, is where does all this go

and how does it benefit the work of God
after a person's death.
As we mentioned a moment ago, you can't take it with you,

1 kuThimothewu 5

8 Kepha-ke uma umuntu engabondli abakubo, kakhulu abakwakhe, ukulahlile ukukholwa, mubi
kunongakholwayo.

1. Debt
2. Family
3. Lord

The big bottom line is our first responsibility is to our family. And we need to make sure that our
children are educated properly.

So after your family is taken care of and the needs of your family are taken care of, we're not gonna
take it with us, we know that, so that we need to make arrangements for it to go back to Him. And
then, so, after we pass away, the effect of that is that our assets that we give back to him continue to
work on God's behalf.

The goal of Christian parents, of course, is to train their children to become independent adults.
The best way to do that is to help them with their education so they can have a secure position in
life and provide a service for humanity and also be able to support the cause of God.

Proverbs 27:23 and 24:

23Yazi nokwazi ukuma kwezimvu zakho,

ubeke inhliziyo yakho emihlambini yakho.
24Ngokuba ingcebo ayiyikuhlala kuze kube phakade;
umqhele uyahlala izizukulwane ngezizukulwane na?

"If you do your giving while you're living, then you're knowing where it's going."
Ellen G. White, Testimonies for the Church, vol. 5, p. 154
I saw that many withhold from the cause while they live, quieting their consciences that they will be
charitable at death; they hardly dare exercise faith and trust in God to give anything while living.
But this deathbed charity is not what Christ requires of His followers; it cannot excuse the
selfishness of the living. Those who hold fast their property till the last moment, surrender it to
death rather than to the cause. Losses are occurring continually. Banks fail, and property is
consumed in very many ways. Many purpose to do something, but they delay the matter, and Satan
works to prevent the means from coming into the treasury at all. It is lost before it is returned to
God, and Satan exults that it is so.

Do you people generally think that if they make their will

and their trust, they're gonna die sooner.

They don't die any sooner; they just die prepared.

That's important to know.

3. We should give while we live.

Amahubo 92: 12-

12 Olungileyo uyahluma njengesundu,
uyakhula njengomsedari* eLebanoni.
13 Batshaliwe endlini kaJehova,
bamila emagcekeni kaNkulunkulu wethu.
14Nasebudaleni bayakuthela izithelo,
bahlume babe luhlaza,
15 ukuze bashumayele ukuthi uJehova ulungile;
uyidwala lami okungekho kuye ukungalungi.

Ellen G. White, Testimonies for the Church, vol. 1, p. 424

It is frequently the case that aged persons are unwilling to realize and acknowledge that their mental
strength is failing. They shorten their days by taking care which belongs to their children. Satan
often plays upon their imagination and leads them to feel a continual anxiety in regard to their
money. It is their idol, and they hoard it with miserly care. They will sometimes deprive themselves
of many of the comforts of life, and labor beyond their strength, rather than use the means which
they have. In this way they place themselves in continual want, through fear that sometime in the
future they shall want.

All these fears originate with Satan. He excites the organs which lead to slavish fears and jealousies
which corrupt nobleness of soul and destroy elevated thoughts and feelings. Such persons are insane
upon the subject of money. If they would take the position which God would have them, their last
days might be their best and happiest. Those who have children in whose honesty and judicious
management they have reason to confide, should let their children make them happy. Unless they do
this, Satan will take advantage of their lack of mental strength and will manage for them. They
should lay aside anxiety and burdens, and occupy their time as happily as they can, and be ripening
up for heaven.
