Congratulations for having a Haval SUV!


Please keep this manual properly together with the vehicle, and assist the designated dealer to fill the vehicle
information registeration card in this manual when purchasing, in order to ensure that the vehicle is under the standard
warranty.
This manual indicates the agreement on establishment and termination of rights and obligations on quality liabilities
and after-sales service between Haval Motors and the user, please kindly read it carefully before using our company’s
products.
This manual should be always with this vehicle, when you sell this car, please transfer this manual to the next owner
in order to ensure that the new owner can continue to use the remaining and valid warranty rights.
All the materials contained in this manual are the latest one at the time of publication; Haval Motors reserves the right
to revise this manual. However, in case of changes on the content of quality assurance conditions, Haval Motors shall
keep the customer informed by the means of notice or announcement.

Attentions: Please head to the designated dealers or service provider for the regular maintenance on schedule, use
the spare parts provide or authorized by Haval Motors for the purpose of vehicle repair and maintenance, and utilize
the products according to the <Owner’s Manual>.
Haval Motors shall not bear the responsibilities in case that any negative results arise due to improper use, maintenance
and repair of the vehicle according to the above mentioned requirements.
If any, all the related laws or regulations on reparation, replacement and returning of cars shall be observed.

Quality Assurance Service
Haval Motors’ Quality Assurance Service
Warranty Period:
Vehicle Warranty Period:3 Years or 100,000 Km, whichever occurs earlier (except the spare
parts under limited warranty);
Engine and Transmission Warranty Period:5 Years or 150,000Kms, whichever occurs earlier(except
the spare parts under limited warranty).
Within the warranty period for the vehicles used under normal conditions, Haval Motors shall repair or replace the
spare parts which are damaged due to the defects of raw material or in manufacturing process free of costs.
Dealers or service providers designated by Haval Motors have the right to determine the repair scheme (including repair
or replacement of the related spare parts) according to the vehicle’s condition provided the technical requirements
are met.
Calculation Formula of Warranty Period: Duration or Kilometers (whichever occur earlier):
Duration: Count from the purchase date of vehicle (the issuance date showed on the vehicle purchasing invoice);
Kilometers: The kilometer indicated on the odometer (under the normal condition) on the date when the claim is
submitted.

Attention:
If the odometer is damaged, Haval Motors shall count the kilometer on the basis of 3,000 Kilometer per month.
If the odometer is damaged, the vehicle owner needs to head to the dealer or service provider designated by Haval
Motors for the replacement of odometer, and then the dealer or service provider designated by Haval Motors shall
record and stamp on the <odometer replacing record card> in this manual.

Quality Assurance Service
Warranty Period of Purchased Spare Parts: 12 months or 20,000 kilometers
The genuine spare parts purchased at the premise of the dealer or service provider designated by Haval Motors, and
installed on the vehicle by the seller can be covered by the warranty of 12 months or 20,000 kilometers starting from
the installation date (whichever occurs earlier), and the date should be subject to the spare parts purchasing invoice
or other effective certificates.
Definition of Genuine Spare Parts: spare parts provided, recognized or inspected qualified by Haval Motors.
When the original spare parts installed on the vehicle is less that of the spare parts purchased by the owner, the
warranty period of the original spare parts shall prevail, and the warranty period shall be counted from that of the
original ones again.

Exemption Conditions of the Warranty Responsibility:


Within the warranty period Haval Motors shall not undertake the warranty responsibilities for the product quality
defects under any of the circumstances as follows:
-Without valid invoice or warranty voucher or forges the warranty voucher or the voucher has been altered;
-The vehicle warranty spare parts or consumable spare parts with the quality problem have gone beyond the
warranty period clearly indicated;
-The vehicle owner has been informed in writing that the vehicle had defects.
-Use the vehicle for renting, modification, racing or the other operation purpose;
-Damage caused by the owner in modification, adjustment or disassembly without authorization;
-Damage caused by the improper handling of the owner when the vehicle quality problem happens;
-Damages caused by the improper use by the owner or the use, maintenance and repair are not performed properly
according to the <Owners’ Manual>;
-Damages caused by force majeure

Accessibility of Repair Service:
In order to effectively solve the problem that you feedback and get access to the timely repair service, please deliver
the vehicle to the dealer and service provider designated by Haval Motors.
Proper Driving and Regular Maintenance:
Please use your vehicle properly; maintain and take care of your vehicle according to the regulations stipulated in the
<Owner’s Manual>.
Please conduct the vehicle maintenance on a regular basis according to the regulations stipulated in this manual. The
maintenance cycle should be shortened if the vehicle is being used under the adverse conditions.
All the expenses arising from the regular inspection, adjustment, replacement and maintenance items should be
undertaken by the vehicle owner.
Retention of Related Records:
Please retain the related repair and maintenance records properly, and you need to show these records in some
cases to evidence such necessary repair and maintenance have been performed.
Using Genuine Spare Parts:
In order to ensure your vehicle is in the best using state and keep the highest level of safety and prolong life time after
the maintenance or repair, please use the genuine spare parts and head to the dealer or service provider designated
by Haval Motors for repair and maintenance.
Keep the <Warranty Manual> Properly:
Please keep the <Warranty Manual> properly due to the fact that it is the important material for you to get the quality
assurance service as well as the maintenance service and avoid being lost or contaminated.

Maintenance Service
Necessity of Vehicle Maintenance
Vehicle maintenance is the health diagnosis of the vehicle
-During the life time of the vehicle, the wear and tear of the spare parts are unavoidable, in order to ensure you can
drive the vehicle with a peace of mind, the vehicle needs to be inspected, maintenance and repaired on a regular
basis. Only in this way can the function and performance of the vehicle be maintained and restored.

-Vehicle maintenance can ensure you drive the vehicle safely


During the vehicle maintenance, necessary preventive maintenance can be conducted according to the using situ-
ation of the spare parts. In this case, we can take contingences before the fault emerges, and ensure you can drive
your vehicle safely prior to the next maintenance.

-Cut down the vehicle using cost


-Prolong the service life of the vehicle
Brake pads and tires of the vehicle shall be worn gradually while they are functioning, instead of using permanently.
Using the spare parts which have exceeded the worn limit may cause malfunctioning, or even cause traffic accident.
In the case, it is necessary to conduct vehicle maintenance on a regular basis.

Classification of Vehicle Maintenance


Routine Inspection and Maintenance
During the vehicle’s daily driving, the proper inspection and maintenance time shall be judged by driving distance,
time and its driving conditions.
If the inspection items can be conducted by the user, it is recommended to implement before a long distance driving,
during car washing or refueling.
Regular Repair and Maintenance
Please strictly observe the maintenance cycle indicated in the “Regular Maintenance
Table” After regular maintenance and service, the dealers or service providers designated by Haval Motors should
make mark and stamp on the maintenance card.

Attention:
It is recommended to conduct the regular maintenance service at the dealers or service providers designated by
Haval Motors in order to make you away from any unnecessary losses.

Maintenance Service
Routine Inspection and Maintenance
If you are acknowledged with abundant basic vehicle mechanics and equipments, you could perform the daily in-
spection and maintenance by yourself. Please read and observe the following notices. If you fail to do so, vehicle
breakdown or accidents may occur.
During the inspection, if conditions like refueling, parts maintenance, adjustment etc happen, please make contact
with the dealers or service provider designated by Haval Motors for solution. If maintained without inspection and
maintenance knowledge and techniques of Haval, vehicles breakdown or accidents may occur.
Matters of Notes for Preparation and Inspection Spot
Never conduct inspection on the spot where pedestrian are impeded or traffic is obstructed.
Do not inspect on slant spot, for the risk of injury may be resulted from vehicle sliding may occur.
Please perform inspection after the wheels are stopped fully or parking brake is engaged,
in order to avoid any possible emergencies caused by the vehicle sliding. The vehicle mounted jack could only be
used when replacing or mounting tires, never use in inspection and maintenance.
Matters of Notes for Inspection inside Engine Room
Never inspect when the engine is working, it’s dangerous.
Never inspect when the ignition switch is on, this might cause the risk of injury.
Never touch the exhaust pipe, radiator …etc shortly after the engine shutdown, this might cause scalding risk.
Never place stuff in the engine cabin, particularly papers, cloths which are inflammable articles, this might cause the
risk of burning.
Never remove hoses, wirings …etc in order to avoid any faults.

-Scrubbing condition of the wipers;
-Working condition of the lighting system and turning light.
