The treatment provides a protection against Water and Fire. The boards are manufactured and tested according to German Standard DIN 18180 and specifications for Fire Resistance DIN 4102 Part - Class A2 (Non- combustible). These Boards also comply with the ASTM C-36 & ASTM C-630. Dry Wall Lining DRY LINING WITH PADS AND DAPS. DRY LINING WITH M/F SYSTEM {tis system for dry lining in which small pads are fixed to Brick, block or concrete walls to provide a true flat surfee For plasterboards. Daps of plaster or adhesive are applied between the pads, and ‘The boards pressed on to them. TI ‘To secure 9.5 or 12.5 mm thick tapered edge palsterboards to ‘The above background system is normally used ‘Metal furring (M/F) system of dry lining is the best method {0 fix tapered edge palsterboars to brick, or concrete walls. ‘The plasterboards are screwed to light weight metal furring channels fixed to wall surfaces with adhesive, INDEPENDENT WALL LINING ‘This isa light weight dry internal lining for external walls. ‘The system is based on a light weight metal 1 section stud. As itis erected independently of the external walling it can accommodate service ducts, 2. Partitions METAL STUD PARTITIONS Metal stud partitions are light weight non-loading, ‘They provide low cost partitions suitable for both housing and public buildings. The system consists of tapered edge gypsum plasterboards serew - fixed to light weight metal sections. The partition ‘can provide high level of fire resistance, sound insulation ... Ete. Wood could be used as a frame instead of the metal frame, 3. Ceiling FALSE CEILING Plasterboards can be used as a false ceiling, The metal furring suspended ceiling system is a method of serewfixing one or (wo layers of 12.5 mm of pasterboards, to the underside of metal suspension grid to provide smooth Jointless celling. The Advantages ofthe Gypsum Board Construction over the traditional Blockwork Construction are numerous. Among these advantages, we could cite without being imitative the following: ‘The Boonomy in cost and saving in pace. © The better quality of surface finish, * The speed of instalation, * The climination of plastering © The ease of installing the electrical and sanitary services. * The possibilty of accommodating airconditioning pipes and ducts in the gypsum Board ceilings. » The possibility of getting a better insulation. + The possibility ofecovering most ofthe material in case of moving ‘or removing the Walls. * The light weight of the partition which results in lighter overall structure * The possibility to construct ater installation of carpeting which highly appreciated for talloring te space tothe needs ofthe tenant, Prticulry in case of office buildings * The possibilty of continuing other activites immediately after installation and without waitin for sting or drying * The case of installation which makes it possible for the individual to do-it - himself for home rearrangement. ge co SAUDI PLASTERBOARDS FIRE RATED (TYPE GKF) Specification : These are the NGC Boards which has fiber glass Incorporated in its Plaster core, thus achieving a greater Fire Resist- ance.
