Abstract
Enhancing the visibility and impact of research is crucial for disseminating knowledge
widely and making progress. While publishing high-quality papers in scientific
journals is an essential step, it is only half the journey toward receiving future impacts
and citations. To increase research visibility and impact, researchers need to expose
their research output to the widest possible audience by using the proper “Research
Tools”. It is important to note that the visibility of an article has a significant impact on
its citation count, rather than just the merit of the article. Although researchers spend
considerable time and effort writing their research for publication, they often stop their
work after publication. However, the dissemination and archiving of an article are
essential phases in the publication life cycle. This webinar series provides a step-by-
step guide on how the effective use of various research tools can help increase the
visibility and impact of researchers' published research, leading to an increase in
citations and improvement in university ranking.

High Impact Research

Quality, Quality,
Quality
Inherent & Appearance
Don't forget, the quality of your work will always matter. Helping the world to be a better place is
essential to gain attention to your research work!
However, it is difficult to distinguish whether
high citations are due to quality or visibility
(Ale Ebrahim et al., 2014).

Comprehensive Researcher
Profile Database
Clarivate - KeyWords Plus®
The data in KeyWords Plus® are words or phrases that
frequently appear in the titles of an article's references
but do not appear in the title of the article itself.
Based upon a special algorithm that is unique to
Clarivate databases, KeyWords Plus® enhances the
power of cited-reference searching by searching across
disciplines for all the articles that have cited references in
common.

Getting started
Once you decide to integrate social media into your
communications plan, we suggest that you answer the
following questions:
1. What are the goals of your department? What does a
successful media strategy do for you?
2. Who is your target audience? What do you want them to
do?
3. How much time will you dedicate to creating and updating
content? Who will do the work? How frequently will you
publish, and is your plan sustainable?
