To Whom It May Concer,
Itis an extreme pleasure to be able to write this letter on behalf of Montana Fassnacht, I have known
Montana for the past three years as she has been teaching instrumental music on my staff in the Massillon
City School District. Montana has taught beginning and middle school bands, as well as some general music
classes at our Intermediate/Middle School. She has also worked with our high school students by assisting
with our marching band, leading our basketball band and working with soloists and small ensembles for
adjudicated events. As I have witnessed her teaching over the past few years, I can say with certainty that
Montana is a top-notch, high-quality music educator!
Watching Montana interact with many students in a variety of ways, | have been incredibly impressed by
‘the way she has handled herself in all of those situations. She has a great rapport with the students and they
know that she is there for them whenever they need anything. She has high standards and keeps the students
‘on task while still maintaining a positive atmosphere for them to work and learn.
Montana has been a wonderful addition to our band staff. She is always punctual and prepared. She is very
kind to everyone and handles herself in a professional manner at all times. She takes initiative to do things
that need to be done before even being asked to do them. She is even willing to help out in ways that aren’t
in her “job description.” She is a model employee and would be a great addition to any group.
Personally, I do not want to lose Montana from my staff. She is a great asset to us. However, | know that she
will be a great asset to any schoo! that hires her. 1 would highly recommend Montana Fassnacht for
‘whatever position you need her in! She will do a fantastic job no matter where she ends up!
Sincerely,
Sor MAL?
