Mary story

1st version

Mary went to have a coffee. Suddenly, heard a noise outside so she paid the bill and went
outside. She saw a crowd and the police arrived. No one was arrested and she went back
home.

2nd version

Mary Wilkinson Harris went to Starbucks to have a coffee. She ordered a latte and a muffin.
Suddenly, heard 4 shots fired outside. She called the waitress and asked for the bill which
amounted S/. 46.50. Then, she went outside, running into a girl and saw a crowd of 15
people outside. 2 Police cars arrived and 3 agents got out. Luckily, no one was arrested
because the noise was caused by fireworks and she went back home by bus.

3rd version

Mary Wilkinson Harris, French and 32 years old went to Starbucks inside Real Plaza mall in
Salaverry avenue to have a coffee at 11.30am. She ordered a tall latte and a blueberry
muffin. While she was enjoying her treat, she heard 4 shots fired outside. She called the
waitress named Laura and asked for the bill which amounted at S/. 46.50. She paid with a
100-soles note and after receiving the change, she thanked Laura, grabbed her black and
white purse and walked towards the door. She went outside, it was a sunny day, running
into a blond girl and saw a crowd of 1540 people outside, mostly women. Then, 2 Police
cars with the sirens on arrived and 3 agents one female and two male (change of order) got
out. Luckily, no one was arrested because the noise was caused by 20 fireworks that a boy
dropped and she went back home by bus, taking line 8.
