We moved to Ea on, Pennsylvania when I was 2 years old.

My parents are osa-Lee Lawrence and

Jacob Lawrence. ey got divorced in 1924, thats when my life gave a really big turn when I was
seven.We never being though this but since my dad le everything has being hard for my mom. I was
only seven so I didn’t under and what was happening but I tried to help my mom as much as I can
but she didn’t for us to worry about her. A er Two years my mom ill hasn't found a job. Its really
hard to nd a job with a perfe schedule to be with us too. Also, it's hard for her to take care of three
kids while she barely has money for herself. She’s being trying to get a job her in Ea on but she can’t
nd jobs that let her work there. So she had to make a tough decision

she never told us what she was going through so, one day she told us to get ready and pack everything
up. We got on the car an we were excited because we were gonna move houses and we were gonna
live happily but that not what happened. A er a long drive, We realized that she was taking us to
some weird place called fo er care. When we go inside I felt a disgu ing feeling. e place was dirty
and it looked really old and abandoned.
