Design Layer 2 Infrastructures

Description: There are many aspects to designing a successful Layer 2 infrastructure in your Enterprise.
This episode focuses on such important design decisions and includes information on STP, PoE, WoL, and
loop-free STP designs as well as STP scalability.
Objectives:
At the end of this episode, I will be able to:
1. Describe design concerns regarding STP.
2. Discuss issues that effect fast convergence.
3. Discuss design thoughts around loop-free topologies.

While I did not get a chance to discuss it in this episode, please remember, when in doubt with STP - always
make sure your ACTIVE HSRP device is also the STP primary root.
