PMAS-Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi is in need to hire the

Consultant having vast managerial level experience in the field of Civil Works and
its allied areas on a Part time/Full time basis, exceptional qualifications and
expertise (National & International level) who had during their services acquired
themselves admirably as may be determined from the Consultant for a period not
exceeding six months renewable for such period as may be deemed fit.

Qualification and Terms & Conditions for the Consultant

a. A candidate having atleast Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university
and vast managerial level experience in the field of Civil Engineering (minimum fifteen years
practical experience to carry out and supervise civil works, including rehabilitation & maintenance
services, the development of hydroponic units/green houses and biogas units) and other
development and non-development mega projects will be appointed for a period of six (6)
months and extendable on the satisfactory performance.
b. The person appointed as Consultant will be paid monthly honorarium keeping in view the last
pay drawn (negotiable).
c. The Consultant shall be treated at par with other University teachers/officers on ceremonial
occasions without conferring any right to contest objections or to cause vote to various
University statutory bodies.
d. The Consultant shall be entitled to avail casual leave as permissible to regular University
employee provided that no other kind of leave shall be admissible.
e. The Consultant can be accommodated at the Visiting Faculty Residence on the University campus
as per prescribed/approved rates.
f. The Consultant is expected to be man of scholarship and high conduct in the event of
involvement in activities violating the terms and conditions of appointment or prejudicial to the
general interest to the University, the University reserves the right to withdraw the appointment
at any time.
g. The Consultant’s services can be terminated on one-month notice or on payment of one-month
honorarium in the thereof on either side.
h. Applicants MUST bring with them the application on plain paper alongwith attested copies of
Degrees/Certificates, National Identity Card, Domicile C.V, experience certificates and PEC
Registration Certificate on the day of interview, No Separate Call letter will be issued for the
interview.
i. Applicants already working in Government, Semi-Government Autonomous Bodies are required
to produce the N.O.C. of their employers. Incomplete and Advance copy of applications will not
be entertained.
j. No. TA/DA will be paid for the purpose.
k. The University reserves the rights not to hire anyone or withhold hiring without assigning any
reason.

Duties

i. The consultant will develop projects/proposals and carry out existing projects of the university
to promote greater academic and development charter of the University.

ii. The Vice Chancellor can assign any specific duties to the consultant

iii. Perform such other duties and functions as may be assigned by the Vice Chancellor.
