4. Course Description : This course consists of the fundamental concept
of teaching English. It’s designed to learn 4 skills
in English (listening, speaking, reading, and
writing). At the end of semester, students are
expected to be able to apply the materials that
they had in written and spoken forms.

C. Classroom Strategy
All students are required to write a summary on each of the topics scheduled and listed
above. In every meeting, the lecturer will give the materials for each meeting and the students
will discuss, do some exercises and to be active in the classroom.

D. Grading System
The final score or grade for the subject will be determined on the bases of scores
achieved by the student for the attendance list (15 %), score project, quiz, presentation and
participation in the class (20 %), score achieved in the mid-semester exam (30 %), and score
achieved for the final-semester exam (35 %).

E. Attendance Requirement
In order to be eligible for the final-semester exams, students’ (physical) attendance
should be at least 85 %. Written excuses for not attending classes due to personal business or
commitments will not be counted as presence in the class. Excuses for not attending the
classes due to health condition should be accompanied by a written document from the
physician.

F. The Regulation of English Learning


1. The students should come on time based on the schedule.
2. No active hand phone.
3. 15 minutes after teaching and learning process is done, the students are not able to come
into the class and it is also used by the lecturer.
4. The students should wear shoes, and shirt in learning process.
5. Speak in English based on the appointment 20%, 30%, 50% and 100%.
6. The students should bring the media like dictionary, etc.
