Mathematics was developed around 11th century BC


and included important concepts related to
negative numbers, decimals,algebra and geometry.
Greek mathematics developed around 7th century
BC, producing important theories thanks to great
mathematicians such as Pythagoras, Euclid and
Archimedes.
the study of mathematics as a "demonstrative
discipline" began in the 6th century BC with the
Pythagoreans, who coined the term "mathematics"
from the ancient Greek μάθημα (mathema),
meaning "subject of instruction".
