 Abstract

Our project focuses on providing web-application namely “Kisan Suvidha Web-Application”.

In this exclusive project one will get the information about the different services on farming
activities.
The main objective of our project is to know the various design aspects like planning and
estimate.

We have planned to design the web-application on “Kisan Suvidha” for farming service.

The planning is done as per requirement of farming activities to get the fertilizer quantity by
mentioning the crop to grow and what is the type of soil. Also the size of the farm in order to
estimate the right quantity of the fertilizer. There is also the expert advice given on by the
expertise in the farming filed having knowledge about the farming. There is also the
information about the fertilizer shops near by the user device and will provide the contact
number and address of the shop on the application.
1.Introduction:
• The project “Kisan Suvidha Application” is a system made for farmers. There are also
other existing application which is made to provide farming services like AgriCentral,
PM Kisan, Agrimarket, BharatAgri etc. These all applications are currently most
useful for farmers in different ways.
• The Kolhapur district have over 6.38 lakh farmers which is second highest number of
farmers in Maharashtra state.
• To provide a proper and well managed services to those farmers in a particular region
is difficult by a national level applications and systems.
• So overcome this problem the ‘Kisan Suvidha Application’ is to be created for only
KOLHAPUR District in order to give well managed services more precisely.

• One-third of our national income comes from agriculture. The development of

agriculture has much to do with the economic welfare of our country. Now our
country is self-sufficient in foodgrains.

• In the upcoming years agriculture will see major changes. The vast majority of Indian
farmers, which includes small-scale producers are often unable to access the
information and technological resources that could increase the yield and lead to
better prices for their crops and products.
2.Objective:
• To give different services with more precision and accuracy
• To make farmer get his resources more easily.
• Scheduling the number of fertilizers or pesticides required for farming according to
their region and size of farm.
• Improving their business performance and reducing negative environmental impacts
on their farms.
• Providing them a user-friendly web application so they can enhance their farming and
also understand the technical terms
• Contains all the information related to their respective taluka

3.Literature Survey:
• Agriculture is a primary occupation of the larger part of Indian population. This
occupation plays an important role in whole GDP of India.
• Currently most of farmers use traditional and cultural methods , technologies and
equipment's for the farming and they lack in new updated information , which can
slowdown the race of improving the agriculture sector.
• Recently society is going through a technological era. To boost the agriculture sector
it is important to have system from which the farming technologies and information
can be shared.
• To provide those tech and information and many more services, several mobile
applications has to be developed for livestock management. These application can
make improvements in farming culture and help farmers.

4.Proposed System:
 The goal of these web-application to help the farmers of Kolhapur district using
technology like fertilizer calci and information related to the crops.
 Kisan Suvidha includes various modules which help the farmers in order to make
their farming easier and more relevant.
 Agriculture in our country is the major source of income to almost 60% of Indians so
to make that sector more enhance our web-application provides a lot of features which
help farmers.

7. Future Scope:
Agriculture in India is done by more than 60% of population which contribute over 14%
to the Indian GDP to develop our agriculture sector we have to take initiative and create such
websites to help farmers in the farming and make their work easy. It will be beneficial for
both farmers as well as the economy of India.

8.Conclusion:
At last the use of “Kisan Suvidha WebApplication” is to help the farmers to enhance their
farming using technology. Easy to understand the UI i.e. the user interface is user-friendly
and the common farmer can get much information about the farming and saves the time of
farmer.
