Q.1. In the given figure, arcs have been drawn of radius 7cm each with vertices A, B, C and D of
quadrilateral ABCD as centres. Find the area of the shaded region.

Q.2. The wheel of a motor cycle is of radius 35 cm. How many revolutions per minute must the wheel
make so as to keep a speed of 66 km/hr?

Q.3. The sum of the radii of two circles is 140 cm and the difference of their circumferences is 88 cm.
Find the diameters of the circles.

Q.4. A round table cover has six equal designs as shown in figure. If the radius of the cover is 21 cm, find
the cost of making the designs at the rate of Rs.3.50 per cm2. (Use √3 = 1.7)

Q.5. Find the difference of the areas of two segments of a circle formed by a chord of length 5 cm
subtending an angle of 90o at the centre.
