Dear Lusi-yan

My life has turned around after being with Mr. and Mrs. Chen. I left in such a hurry I forgot to take most
my stuff. I packed my clothes, toothbrush and savings made up mostly of the money the Chens had
given me and left without realizing the terrible mistake I could’ve been making. I decided I wanted to
attempt to travel back to my hometown hoping to find my beloved family that I missed dearly. I knew
there was a faery that could take me back to my hometown in South East China so I couldn’t wait to hop
on.

I sat on the docks overnight waiting for it to come. I saw the boat enter the rivers banks ready to pick up
a cluster of eager people. I paid for a ticket boarded the ship and finally my journey began. It took a few
days, but we soon entered the shores of my homeland. I hitch hiked but soon found my old home. I
knocked on the door and my family were astonished by my greeting. I now live there happily with all my
family and old friends.

But now enough raveling on about my life story, how are you? you must be twenty-two now and all
grown up. I’ve worried for you every day since I left and have been planning to visit. I hope after my
stern word with Mrs. Cheng she might have learnt how to be nice for once. I still can't believe the look
on her face when I confronted her. I must say goodbye now, but I Miss you very much, but I do hope I
can visit you one day.
