We observe that bank has obtained Recovery certificate / Decree in a large number of Original Applications filed in various DRTs across the country in which execution proceedings are going on before the Recovery Officers concerned. As part of our efforts for speedy recovery, Banks proceed simultaneously through the DRT as well as Sarfaesi mode. We had conveyed the need to put more and more properties for sale through DRT as such proceedings are relatively litigation free and conducted under the supervision of DRTs. However notwithstanding our repeated instructions given through video conference conducted with the zones / reminders sent to you for initiating steps through DRT to sell the properties, we find that there has not been much progress in the same from the recovery point of view and the sale through DRTs are abysmally low. We call upon all the Zones to scan your DRT decreed accounts, and identify saleable properties in all such accounts immediately and ensure that they are put up for sale in the auction during the first week of February 2022 without fail. The details of such properties identified shall be informed to us by 31.12.2021 in the attached format.
