1. From your observation, have you observed modern prophets? cite

specific persons and describe their message and personal qualities.

- Upon doing my research, I have only known one living famous prophet. His
name is Russell Marion Nelson Sr. He is the 17 th and current President of
the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is believed that he is the
living prophet who receives revelation and teachings directly from God.
Russell M. Nelson is a dedicated family man, a good instructor, a
competent doctor, and a reliable friend. Along with being a fantastic leader,
he is also a brilliant surgeon who has spent decades saving lives. He is
recognized as a prophet, seer, and revelator by churchgoers for this
reason.

2. Do you still believe in prophecy? why or why not?

- I don’t think I ever believed in prophecy because we are still living in a

world full of chaos while prophets say that there will come a time when a
savior will come and save us. There are a lot of innocent people suffering,
and nature is dying every single day, but there has never been a prophecy
that tells us the world is going to be saved; it is always about how the world
is going to die because of sinners. There’s not one prophecy that says sin
will be washed away completely. If God truly loved us, why is he allowing
us to suffer until this day? If God really was omnipotent, why did he not
erase the thought of doing bad things from people’s minds? Why is our
loving God letting us live in a world full of hatred, anger, and danger? How
can he not send us a message about him saving us by himself?
