Leisure time activities are an important part of life by strengthening our physical health,

mental health and cognitive wellbeing. Leisure time activities can lower stress, depression and
improve quality of life. 

According to Porter, Anna K. ; Cuthbertson, Carmen C. ; Evenson, Kelly R. (2020),


Individuals in moderate-to-vigorous walking, bicycling, or running had lower all-cause
mortality than thoes who not. The finding of Kitamura, Kaori ; Watanabe, Yumi (2022)
indicated that  Higher levels of leisure-time physical activities were associated with lower 
Hazard ratios for dementia. Boelens, Mirte ; Smit, Michel S ; Windhorst, Dafna A (2022)
identified thhat The proportion of children with high risk of mental health problems among
participants in organised leisure-time activities is smaller than among non-participants.

The finding of studies examining the affection of free-time activities to physical and mental
health. Study by Porter, Anna K. ; Cuthbertson, Carmen C. ; Evenson, Kelly R. (2020)
examined the association between specific leisure-time activity and mortality risk while
studies  Kitamura, Kaori ; Watanabe, Yumi (2022) and Boelens, Mirte ; Smit, Michel S ;
Windhorst, Dafna A (2022)  determine the effect of leisure-time and mental health problems
to children, middle-aged and older adults. Although much work has been done to date, little
studies were conducted to show the Relation of university students especially international
students the leisure time activities.

The purpose of this study was to compare the spare time activities of international college
student to when they were school student.The hypothesis was that leisure time activity of
international university student is different from what they did in school activities.
