Role of Social Worker
The scope of social work intervention with children is broad and diverse. It is
feasible to intervene both at the macro and micro levels and in various contexts.
Working directly with kids, important people, and promoting critical policy and legal
reforms are all options. A specialised field of practise is social work with children. It
necessitates in-depth understanding of children, a rights-based perspective on
children, and the capacity to organise and contextualise interventions that are
pertinent and advance child wellbeing.
Role of Social Worker

- Planning and Implementing Intervention Actions

- Referral, Networking, and Resource Mobilisation
- Advocacy and Campaigns
- Enabling Communication skills
- Working with Family and Other Significant Adults
- Direct Work with Children
Conclusion
Twenty percent of all children in the world live in India. The bottom quintile of
wealth in this country includes approximately 100 million youngsters. As a result,
the nation's kid population needs proper integration in order for there to be any
form of inclusive growth. Furthermore, these initiatives must give enough
consideration to the stark inequities and the country's actual conditions. To give
girl children their proper status in India, discrepancy between girls and boys,
between girls and boys belonging to various castes and classes, and between
girls and boys belonging to diverse parts of the nation must be taken into
consideration.
