    Letter Exchange Charts

    Example
    Below is an example of a completed Letter Exchange Chart with commentary. In this example
    Stephen, Kali, Chris, Le, and Gudrun are all members of a group. As you can see from the chart,
    Stephen (student 1) will exchange letters with Kali (student 2) and Gudrun (student 5). Kali
    (student 2) will exchange letters with Stephen (student 1) and Chris (student 3). Chris (student 3)
    will exchange letters with Kali (student 2) and with Le (student 4). Le (student 4) will exchange
    letters with Chris (student 3) and Gudrun (student 5). And Gudrun (student 5) will exchange
    letters with Le (student 4) and Stephen (student 1). When Kali responds to Stephen and to Chris,
    she should try to incorporate some of the ideas from Chris' letter, and she should try to
    incorporate some of the ideas from Stephen's letter in her response to Chris, and so on.
