The Fir!

Fruits
Introduction
On the day of Pentecost the children of
Israel had to bring two loaves of the first
fruit of wheat harvest to present them to
the Lord
The first fruit has dual meanings:
The best effort you make unto the Lord
The 144,000
We will first discuss what it means to give
our best effort to God

Our Best Efforts
Each and every one of us must bring our first
fruit offering to the Lord

That first fruit offering is our best effort unto

the Lord & it begins with our hearts

When you give your entire heart unto the

Lord, you put him above all else

What this means is that you will let nothing or

anyone prevent you from obeying the laws of
God because that is what he desires of you

Matthew 6: 33

his righteousness; and all these things shall
be added unto you.”

Life Weighs Us Down
Life can weigh us down including school,
work, family, our health & appearance
But none of these common aspects of your
life can SAVE you

Only God can save you, therefore, he comes

BEFORE all of these things

Remember to give God his due & he will take

care of you...he will give you eternal life

Good vs. Holy
To distinguish between good &
evil is a of course a must

We must also be able to

distinguish between good &
holy, always choosing the holy
things FIRST

Visiting the sick on the Sabbath

vs.

Worshiping the Lord at Church on

Sabbath

Good vs. Holy
Visiting the sick on the Sabbath would be an
example of a good deed
Worshipping the Lord on the Sabbath would
be considered HOLY and is a part of the 4th
commandment of God
Therefore, visiting the sick, should not come
before your obligation to give reverence to
God on his holy Sabbath

Revelations 14: 1 & 4
“And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount
Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four
thousand, having his Father's name written in their
foreheads. These are they which were NOT defiled
with women; for they are virgins. These are they which
follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were
redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto
God and to the Lamb.”

“They Are Virgins”
Spiritually speaking, to be a virgin that’s
not defiled by a woman means to NOT be
corrupted with false doctrine & idolatry
presented by the churches of this world

There are a multitude of churches, rich,

great, poor and small, each teaching
various doctrines that intermingle God’s
truth with their own traditions & beliefs

Pure Doctrine
One might wonder with so many
different religions in this world how
do you determine who is telling the
truth and who is not
Pure doctrine, the truth, is strictly
measured according to God’s law,
which includes the 10
commandments (Exodus 20: 1-17)

“They Follow the Lamb”
The word ‘follow’ can be defined as:

To accept the guidance, command, or leadership of

To come or go after; proceed behind
The 144,000 accepts Christ’s guidance & leadership by obeying his
law & steering away from the false doctrine of this world
These are individuals that know the truth & obey the laws in its
entirety PRIOR to the 2nd coming of Christ
During the 2nd coming of Christ, when the 144,000 has received the
Holy Spirit, they will literally follow him wherever he goes

A Sign For All to See
When Christ gathers the 144,000 & pours upon
them the Holy Spirit it will NOT be a secret but a
sign of God’s glory

The entire world will know that this group exists

It will bring shock & dismay to the wicked but joy

& hope to the children of God
