EHOLDERWC ASULTATION
For
Construction of Hyderabad—Sukkur Motorway (M-6)
Through Public Private Partnership (PPP)

1. National Highway Authority (NHA), Pakistan, being custodian of National


Highways & Motorway network, has undertaken construction of Peshawar-
Karachi Motorway (PKM) to establish north-south link through a high speed,
controlled access, modern motorway system. The PKM forms part of trade
corridor linking ports of Karachi and Gwadar with China, Afghanistan and
Central Asian States. PKM alignment connects main population centres and
carries major portion of freight traffic of Pakistan. All the segments of PKM
have been completed except Hyderabad - Sukkur Motorway link.

2. NHA intends to undertake construction of Hyderabad - Sukkur


Motorway (M-6), 306 Kilometer, 6-lane, access controlled facility (the Project)
under Public Private Partnership (PPP).

3. NHA plans to hold a stakeholder consultation in order to deliberate upon


the procurement modalities and related legal, financial and commercial
matters. For this purpose, NHA invites reputed local firms registered with
Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in Category C-A and reputed foreign firms
having vast experience in road infrastructure projects. Banking institutions/
investment agencies (local/ foreign) are also encouraged to attend the
consultative session.

4. Keeping in view the COVID-19 situation, the firms are advised to depute
a single representative to attend the proceedings.

5. The stakeholder consultative session shall be held on October 29, 2020


from 1430 hours to 1700 hours in NHA Auditorium.

6. The participants are requested to confirm their attendance at the address


mentioned below latest by October 26, 2020.
