Greetings and thank-you for purchasing this Bandmates music loop library.

This Quickstart Guide contains basic installation information and will enable you to get
the most out of your BandmateLoops purchase.

For specific instructions on how to use a particular music software package, please see
the appropriate user's guide or contact the manufacturer.

Minimum Mac System Requirements:

• Requires GarageBand or other compatible music software package

• Macintosh computer with G3 600Mhz processor or higher
• 256 MB of physical RAM
• A DVD optical drive (such as a Combo drive or SuperDrive)
• Mac OS X version 10.2.6 (Jaguar) or later
• 1.2 Gigabytes of free hard disk space

2) Installation Instructions:
(All platforms except Apple's GarageBand)

This product contains loops in one or more specific sample formats. Never attempt to
play or use audio loops from a CD or DVD-ROM directly as this will cause performance
issues.

If you are unsure which loop format is best for your particular music creation tool,
please refer to the Software Compatibility Guide in this document. (For any updates
you can always visit bandmateloops.com and click Help at the top of the page.) Please
see your music creation tool's user's guide for more software specific information.

3) GarageBand Installation Instructions:

1. Locate the uncompressed folder titled "BM027_Jazz Drums_AL".

2. Launch GarageBand if it isn't already running.

3. View GarageBand's loop browser by selecting Show Loop Browser from the
Control Menu. (Note: If Hide Loop Browser appears in the menu, or Show Loop Browser
is checked in the menu, it's already in view)

4. Move the GarageBand window temporarily by clicking the round green (+) button
in the upper-left window area. (Note: You may need to move the window manually to
navigate to the BM027_Jazz Drums_AL folder from Step 1.)

5. Take the BM027_Jazz Drums_AL folder and drag it from the Finder to
GarageBand's loop browser.

6. When the round "+" copy symbol appears over the loop browser, release the
mouse button. (GarageBand will then ask if you want to copy the loops to the
destination- select copy when asked.)

7. GarageBand automatically imports the loops to your library. (Note: Wait for the
"import" window to disappear.)

8. Congratulations, you are now ready to use your new Bandmates library. However,
please be sure to read the Usage Notes below before continuing.

GarageBand Usage Notes:

By default, GarageBand will automatically "hide" a Bandmates loop (or other loop) in the
Loop Browser if the key is not ideal for the current project. This is normal.

If you wish to see all loops, regardless of key, go to Preferences...General from the
GarageBand menu and uncheck "Filter for more relevant results".
