Interactive Activity Week Three

How many ways logistics companies divide the market?

According to four categories, the market is divided. As follows:

i. Geographic. This is how the industry is divided into regions based on location.

(Camilleri, 2018). Here, the customer's location will help the business better understand

their requirements and give them the option to receive location-specific advertisements.

ii. Demographic. Here, the market is segmented according to observable and

anthropological distinctions. Sex, age, family size, marital status, income, profession,

religion, race, and nationality are a few of these. (Camilleri, 2018).

iii. Psychographic. Here is where emotional and cerebral traits are used to segment the

market. (Camilleri, 2018). These consist of one's passions, convictions, character quirks,

attitudes, values, and way of life.

iv. Behavioral. In this case, the market is divided based on how customers interact with the

goods. Understanding the habit will aid in the development of messaging that will aid in

accommodating those behaviors. (Camilleri, 2018). These consist of website utilization

patterns, benefits sought, online shopping behaviors, usage rate, and loyalty.
